That has got to be the most difficult thing to do. It was so difficult for me as a prospective pet owner that I just couldn't decide between two beautiful puppies. They are both now sleeping in their crates in the next room. :)

It had to be a tough call for sure!!! Congrats to all of you there at your home. Have you picked all. The homes they are going to yet?? Can't wait to follow on. How's Jamba enjoying the summer. By the way, he really likes your chosen angel. He was playing and following her around when you had them outdoors. He's so funny!!! Reminds me of my guy who has passed on. Aww! So happy for you and the new Apple! She was definitely the one who seemed to be far ahead of the others in development and in her courage of doing and trying new things. I'm sure it will be confusing for a while after weeks of know them by the 'other' name. Congrats!

I could tell he would pick the new apple before he said so based on old apple’s temperament in the beginning..they are both adorable 🥰 either way I hope they both will have amazing wonderful loving lives!!
The puppy formerly known as Summer has always seemed the most adventurous. All are loveable, so no losers. I know you have vetted the new owners for each puppy. All will have good homes.
I had a feeling it would be a close choice between Apple and Summer. I was hoping you would be able to keep them both - another pair of sisters like Boo and Tag, and Lizzie and Bootsie. I’m sure Bootsie will be happy one of her pups can stay with her too. I will sure miss watching videos of them when the pups leave. The adopting families are sooo very lucky to get one, I only wish I was getting one of them too! Bootsie’s litter is beautiful!

Adorable 🥰 I have just gotten an 11 week old Cav and she is having the runs constantly! Some spots of blood😮 I have appointment with the vet in the morning, has anyone experienced this with their new pup? Xx
For a minute I thought you had got the puppies mixed up when you said 'Summer scored highest' as on your latest video you said you were keeping Apple! (I viewed in the wrong order). Do you keep a puppy from every litter and, as you breed from them, do you always keep a girl?
At 4 months, puppies are really at their peak of food consumption, because they are at a peak growth point. I feed 3/4 cup of puppy kibble twice a day. In a few months, however, the growth slows down. At that point, usually between age 7 months and a year, they get transitioned to adult food, and only get 3/4 cup once a day.
@@chaskat35 The Italy trips were the major hint, but you have a resemblance too. My father passed last year but he was originally from Palermo Sicily. His family remain in Milan. Dad came to Australia on his own in the 60’s and met my Greek mum here.
Ah, yes - I forgot that I had put up some videos years ago so that friends and family could see where we went on vacation. The last pre-COVID trip was to attend my cousin's wedding in Calabria. It was fantastic, but I'm sorry to say there is no video of it.
I just love the puppies! If I were breeding puppies I would have a hard time letting them go. I’d want to keep them all! Do you know if breeders take volunteers? I have really grown interested in volunteering for either an animal shelter or a good breeder. If I lived in New York, I’d love to volunteer for you. I’m disabled and can’t earn anything but I can volunteer as my body allows. If you know anyone in Southern CA, maybe I can look them up.☺️
You can find a list of reputable breeders at www.ckcsc.org/breeders. Filter the list to include California breeders, and look for one who lives close to you. Then get in touch with them, and ask if they would welcome a volunteer to help with whelping and raising puppies. Keep in mind that responsible breeders don't make any money selling puppies, so you won't get paid. But it could be a wonderful experience.

Truth be told, most owners we place puppies with will change the call name anyway. So the only one we have to be concerned with is the one we kept - we won't change the call name.

Definitely get to the vet. It could be a sign of a harmful virus, and needs to be treated right away.
