I know this is five years old, but I will say this never Force it down If you looked at it it’s not seating properly and you forced it down, so I would not surprise me if it leaked Diesel’ ok
Were is the water drain plug /nut for this type of filter I don't see one on this model do thy have one my vw Passat b 6 2 Ltd TDI has a misfire when starting in the morning like there is a little water in the filter after its warm its fine I have looked at filter causing and there not there ? Most derv filters have one to drain of the water that is at the bottom of the filters after a hard winter .
@@harryapollo1223 I used the original seal. Not the new one you get in the box. Solved it straight away. I was turning the key over on and off not seeing it piss out lol. Mess everywhere.

Andreia Nunes the arm in the middle of the fuel bottle is cracked at the bottom. It forces the filter against the wall of the bottle. Take off the bottle and pour out the diesel, you"ll have to play around with the filter and use a little bit of force to get it out, then you'll see what i'm saying.

This is BKD engine but BEFORE 04/06 with MANN+HUMMEL filtration system, mine is UFI filtration, different MANN filter is used - PU825X
You diesel contains oil.. your PCV valve is dead.
The diesel definitely makes air and the car does not start, the video maker is not sincere and does not show the end

The fuel filter is different on some BKD engines
Check the fuel filter case under the hood. If the length it's 2 times bigger than the cap you have the long version if not the short one.

But it did not look like diesel, diesel seems kinda black.

different manufacturers may have different coloured diesel. It's just additive to change colour. But it is all the same. brown, blue etc...
