I have been using my Bosch washing machine for a year, and suddenly had a doubt if I was putting the detergent in the correct place. I couldn't find my manual, so went to Bosch site and checked. I couldn't believe that they don't actually have a user manual for my model. I found only installation manual and product spec! That's when I found this. Thanks a lot.

Ahha.. the joy of owning a Bosch washing machine. 1# the delivery guy didn't remove the transportation bolts so it sounds like a jet or helicopter taking off and people calling the apartment manager on the noise. 2# removing the machine yourself taking off the bolts and then trying to squeeze it back into your ridiculously small closet space and only have 1/8 clearance for the door to shut as you cross your fingers and cram the machine up against the water pipes and drain hose. 3# so much fun cleaning drain Reservoir three or four times a year with little Tupperware bowls having stinky water go all over the place. 4# love the user-friendly complicated control panel by the time you get the right setting you forget which side to put the soap in. Anyone that owns a Bosch washing machine needs this guy ! you're a legend mate cheers😁🍻

I was given a pack of Persil powder detergent when I purchased my Bosch machine and have not dared to venture to other brands or types.
Well we prefer liquid as powder tends to stick and go mouldy over time. But don't waste it, you can put in the drawer or put some straight in the drum for a wash.

If you have loads of smelly clothes, then why not wash it with more detergent and a prewash instead of trying to mask the smell with the fabric softener?

Hello and thank you so much. Why does the powder detergent harden in the dispenser tray. When I place the Fabric Softener i can see it dripping into the machine. Thats BEFORE I close the door in front and start the machine ?? 🤷🤔
Powder isn't ideal these days. Most people use liquid detergent or the pods which go straight in the machine. Fabric softener shouldn't go right down into the drum until the programme dispenses it by flushing it through with water.
I have a Samsung and the instruction manual isn't very clear about liquid detergent. The dispenser looks exactly like this so I'll do this and hope for the best.
If I want to use Vanish (stain remover), does that mean I will have to mix it with the detergent component? Or should the vanish be applied straight into the stain? Great video by the way!
Previous Bosch machine lasted 3 years before needed replacement. Bought another Bosch 🤦♂️3 months later called out engineer because the useless machine cannot handle small items. Funny how this was not a problem with our last 2 machines.....
I also have a bosch tumble dryer..if possible could you please explain what the fine adjustment means? Even though I have read the manual I still haven't a clue as to what exactly it does!!!

Omg, I was wondering about it. I did not remove that blue cuplike thing when I washed with powder. Where does it say so in a manual...🤦♀️
Without adding the blue plastic bit for liquid detergents, all the detergent gets added to the pre wash cycle and not the main wash cycle.

If you have loads of smelly clothes, then why not wash it with more detergent and a prewash instead of trying to mask the smell with the fabric softener?

Hello and thank you so much. Why does the powder detergent harden in the dispenser tray. When I place the Fabric Softener i can see it dripping into the machine. Thats BEFORE I close the door in front and start the machine ?? 🤷🤔
Powder isn't ideal these days. Most people use liquid detergent or the pods which go straight in the machine.
Fabric softener shouldn't go right down into the drum until the programme dispenses it by flushing it through with water.
These machines are designed for low water usage powder detergent is not ideal.

I have a Samsung and the instruction manual isn't very clear about liquid detergent. The dispenser looks exactly like this so I'll do this and hope for the best.

Previous Bosch machine lasted 3 years before needed replacement. Bought another Bosch 🤦♂️3 months later called out engineer because the useless machine cannot handle small items. Funny how this was not a problem with our last 2 machines.....

Most people use 3 in one capsules these days.we have never opened that draw on our Bosch washer. Just put the capsule in with the clothes

I also have a bosch tumble dryer..if possible could you please explain what the fine adjustment means? Even though I have read the manual I still haven't a clue as to what exactly it does!!!
