It might be just cos I felt they were doing things too advanced for me, and sometimes I don't see what I can take from them that fits in with what I'm trying to do...whatever that is! Jazz influence, here and there, fine. Pure jazz? Not for me I guess. But I do like what you've shown here, You're probably better than I am at picking out what works in blues.. Have you heard Ronnie Earl's "Language of the Soul' album? That's a gem in my book, beautiful jazz-infused blues (all instrumental).
