      Hahah. Yes I guess. Dylan did a fantastic job on bringing him into the spotlight and the reissues looks awesome.

    "Buying vs. collecting records" ...this makes sense. I recently restarted in vinyl after a 20 yr hiatus and you are right. Some records I "buy" because my family likes them like Silk Sonic, Tame Impala, Vampire Weekend, or Guardians of the Galaxy soundtracks (I love them all too!). However, other records I am "collecting" like completing New Order's first 5 releases, Japanese OG Abbey Road, 57 repress Ella & Louie, etc....yes I love them, but they are more "pillars" of the vinyl we own in our home.

      There are so many layers to the onion that is Vinyl Collecting. I am a true believer that there are as many ways of collecting as there are collectors 😀
      Thanks for watching

      Thank you so much! Yes I am pretty proud of the collection I have but there are always more to get around the corner. It’s a drug! 😀😀

    Excellent video! My big find today was one 45 - James Brown - Hot Pants from ‘71 but you can’t win everyday lol
    I found a copy of Mad River late last year for a measly $10 Cdn at an antique shop, but yours is better than mine, at a VG but I doubt I’ll ever see a copy again, cheers from snowy Canada 🍁

      Well I just had the most dumb luck ever, finding this collection. Finding one at a shop for a 10er is amazing no matter the shape. Now when I think of it, I don’t think I ever have seen it in a record shop. Like a physical copy. Don’t seem like many hit Sweden.

    Great records Jonas. I have to laugh when I think I left a copy of Black Cat Bones in a charity for £3 about 10 years ago. It was rough and I'm fussy about condition so won't just buy stuff for the sake of it but the sleeve was obviously worth more than that. Their best track is on the Come Aboard! QE2 LP which is a great psych track. Still a cheap LP. Colours is a wonderful record and even better that it's cheap. Too many great lps to mention, enjoy them all. Cheers Nige

      Well the cover is cool by its own but I do understand. Thanks for watching Nige!

    Very cool pressing of The Ramones man.

      I’m glad that I can keep it now after my friend past. He was a huge punk guy and he played Ramones quite a bit at our work.

    More great finds Jonas before you know it, you might be closing in on Dillon, maybe, that Black cat bones is great blues album. I had a lot of LP's psychedelic and hard rock that I bought back in early seventies, some I still have others were left behind at parties or borrowed by so called friends.

      @SublimMedia  ปีที่แล้ว

      I hate friends like that. I have never lent out anything from my vinyl collection but dvds and cds I have scattered all over town.

    Been after the Merkin, but I'd classify it as lounge pop. Has that amateur, amusing mid 70's ambience.

    • @SublimMedia
      @SublimMedia  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you might be right. I agree it’s on the amateurish side but man it’s cool. 😀

    What a great records you've shown, I have reissue of Mad River, Black Cat bones is avaliable, my main record show vendor has a reissue of it and also Colours for very cheap, under the 10 EUR, I think that I'll grab it at the next record show. Cheers!!!

      Hi. Yes I think so too. In the 70s it merged more into prog. Not all but some.

    Hi Jonas--So many great finds! I don't have the Colours LP, but I have "Love Heals" on 45. I remember that song from the radio in 1968, but didn't know the title, and it took me many years to find out who it was. The United States of America is a big favorite of mine; wish I still had my original copy. The few times I've ever seen the Mad River LP the cover always looks like someone took some sandpaper to it. I've NEVER seen the Black Cat Bones LP in the wild. Aftermath is an underrated Stones album. Cheers!

    • @SublimMedia
      @SublimMedia  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Michael! Yes a great lot of records this time imo. The Black Cat Bones is amazing. So so glad I have a super clean copy.

    Nice grab bag of lps. Bought the USA lp when it was released at a drug store. It came in a brown paper sleeve over the lp cover! In those days there was a lot of weird censorship going on here in the US. Go figure. 🖖🚀

    That Aftermath cover is in better shape than you think, especially when you take into account that those UK 60's Rolling Stones had very fragile covers. That's in contrast to the Beatles jackets which are sturdy in comparison

    • @SublimMedia
      @SublimMedia  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I thought so too. Thanks for the info. There are more stones to come and I think this had the worst cover if I’m honest. The rest is very nice. He really took care of his records.

    So many great records! Fortunately I have most of them, so I sat confident watching the video…until that last Pete Brown & Piblokto! Jealousy meter went through the roof 😱 Been looking sooo long for that one. AMAZING album! Congrats, many grails there 🔥🔥🔥

    • @SublimMedia
      @SublimMedia  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha. “I sat confident…”. Oh man so funny. I can really relate to that when seeing peoples lists or buys after big fairs and stuff. There are always something that sweeps the rug under the feet. 🤣🤣

    Hi Jonas
    Is the United States of America a stereo or mono. I’m on the fence which one to get

    • @SublimMedia
      @SublimMedia  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Both I have had are stereo. Never heard mono.
