Nice little setup. Contains all you need for early (even mid), game. Well placed, being close to a settlement for trading and nothing unnecessary added. Fit for use and function. What we like to see.
You start your tour with 'Watchman's Ease' and I'm hooked already! This place has everything, a bed, a cooking pot, an arcane enchanter, an alchemy lab, and no roof. This is an extra challenge home - survival style! It really is a lovely compact, beautifully designed spot, I really loved the interior layout in such a space. Get adventuring, get good and get that roof finished :). Awesome stuff SP, thanks as always! x
I tried a couple of songs from the music service I use, and I didn't feel like any fit as well as Watchman's Ease. I may get some pushback from people on this one, but I prefer Oblivions OST to Skyrim's. But yes, this home charmed me, and you know how I love no load door homes, especially with utility and great locations, so it was a pleasure to cover Whiterun's Corner!
@@drdkay9716 There is one I'll feature soon-ish in that spot where you have a farm you can repair, which also has about 40-ish soils. I do enjoy repairing bewildered hones, like that Summerset Cabin mod. Buildups and repairs are some of my favorite to cover.
Mmmm, not for me, don’t wanna wake up snuggling to a Saber Tooth or a Wolfe!! Can deal with no roof but I gotta have walls. Thank you for the showcase Sky, appreciate all the time n effort for all of us Skyrim peeps!
One of the first shots I make when I screen record is the night shot. If the lighting isn't very good, I shoot it when the sun is going down...Well, unless it's on Lake Ilinalta, and then it's always when the sun is going down! If it has lighting like this, I like to show it off in the dark!
Thanks for your video and time! :) Skyrim is a magical world, so we can let our imagination run wild. Let's just imagine that there is a magical barrier around the house that hides the house from prying eyes. Outsiders see only ruins and only you know what's inside.
Absolutely! Big thanks, as always, to the mod author for sharing their work with the community! I'm always excited to see new homes pop up on the Nexus!
A nice little swoop in, drop off and into bed stop in your travels, a little drafty and also not very rain/snowproof, but hey its free and has all the basics, so why not. i love no load door homes, especially in the worldspace, so you dont feel to disconnected from the world and maybe have to be watch and careful for uninvited "guests", unless there are security measures in place ofc. I've an old favorite of mine, thats not already in your NLD playlist "Snapneck Shack", that could use a smol review.
I'm glad you said that! I have covered Snapneck Shack, but when I checked my playlists, I hadn't included it in my "No Load Door Homes" playlist, so I just added that one. Thanks for bringing that to my attention! And yes, the Dragonborn might need a hoodie and some sweatpants for when the snow comes to this home, but I really liked the convenience, price, and charm for a starter home! :D Snapneck Shack: th-cam.com/video/ou_9WKa8g58/w-d-xo.html
@@SkyrimPlus Ah very nice, i just love that little thing, thx. Cheers. 🍻 Yeah he'll need that for sure, especially when you do a survival/needs run. :)
I really like the design of this place! I'm not sure why no one has stolen everything that's not nailed down, but that could be said of many house mods. =)
@SkyrimExplorer Agreed. That function with the Hearthfire systems led to a lot of neat house mods for build-ups and repairs. Those are two of my favorite types of mods, ans I have a playlist with those type of homes on my channel page!
I'm using Cabbage ENB with Nat. Weathers III outside, and I use Lux and a lot of different particle lights inside, including on dark elf lanterns, candles, alchemy and enchanting stations, etc.

It is good that Whiterun is in an area where it doesn't rain much. I can imagine my furniture, getting freaking soaked!
You can rename the home "Soggybottom Abode". 😆
No traveler is going to just not rob your roofless hut lol
I've threatened to place a curse on anyone that enters my home without permission, and I'm the most powerful mage on the planet. :D

@@CorvoFG Glad you enjoyed it! If I ever see any no load door homes, they're an instant approval for me to post. :)

Was kinda expecting the video to go like.. "Now let's show you how we fix up this place..." That never happened.. cool vid once again though!

I had to go get it. I run Northern Roads and am happy to see it has no conflicts.

@JeanetteTerry-q6h I have a mini sabertooth at home. She sometimes attacks my feet while I'm trying to sleep, so I can understand that! 😆
It looks very nice at night 😊😊

Hah so true! There really would be nothing left. Perhaps this lot is actually nailed down this time :)
It would be nice to be able to repair this cozy home.
