They told me to go for an interview, when i get there they say my application has been rejected lol Then i arrive home and i get another message to go for an interview. I call to figure out whats going on and they say it was probably an automated message and that they dont have to give us a reason as to why reject. I have all my endorsements, clean license, but no experience.
They didn’t hire me cause I have 2 points on my license from like 5 years ago. Before I got my CDL. It’s crazy but yet sysco hired me. And I hate sysco
Thanks for the information. I appreciate your time and effort into making this. I have an interview with them in a couple of days so I wanted to do some quick research, Thanks.
Aye no problem. I'm glad to help. Hopefully the vid gave enough information with your research. I tried not to sugarcoat it, just the real truth about them.
Probably. Only happened once. I already knew something like that was gonna happen eventually. The company makes us do trailer swaps at a couple truckstops around midnight.
@PatienceAndTiming8 my bad dawg. Been busy. Yeah I still work here. The job has still been good to me so far. Pays the bills. I'll try to make another vid soon with an update.
Haha I do have a pulse . I am from Washington state with 6 months of otr experience. The only reason I want to work there to get a local job . But it seems like they are taking forever to make a decision. I got a call from them and I answer sum questions and the only thing I asked the lady how long I will it take to get a call back . And she replied we will call again if interested. I am guessing it’s slow season in winter so that why I haven’t heard back yet .
I got all my endorsements the first month I got the cdl. The hardest test was the doubles and triples, everything else was just common sense questions basically, they pretty easy. The hardest part of the hazmat to some can be the fingerprint because they do a background check I believe, and us newer cdl holders have to take an eldt test prior to taking the written exam. Did you get your endorsements yet. My bad on the late reply
I just need my hazmat endorsement and I am thinking of taken it around April. Don’t worry man you are busy and thanks for the information. Safe travels
This company is cutthroat like a boot camp. I was with them 6 months in Sacramento in 2022. Pay can be decent and if you can’t fight with other workers for forklifts on the dock AFTER a full shift of linehaul driving overnight.
Yeah they hired me brand new out of cdl school. How much you get paid depends on your terminal. Some get paid more than others. My terminal i was making like $80k a year, others pay less or more.
@johnnymyers20 some terminals/states make more than others. At mines i work 14 hours a day, 5 days a week, for $1500-$1800 gross. Ain't the best but good to get your experience up. Not straight driving. Doing manual labor as well (dock work)
Not that I seen personally, but I saw some other person in the comment section mention that his terminal did a hair test. Everyone I know personally though from my terminal and others did a urine test.

Points should fall off after 3 years I think?
Yeah that's crazy. Usually from what people say is that central is like the swift of ltl, meaning they hire new guys like us lol.

Line Haul drivers where I used run LTL, just drive the freight terminal to Terminal, no touch freight.
The one in macon ga says dock work involved. I said no thx
Yeah dock work ain't no fun. I hated it too. And it's open bay terminals.
what are The hiring requirements for central transport, and was hard to your hazmats endorsement in the 90 days ?
Do you have a pulse? That's the maximum requirement needed to work there
