    Soups are wonderful in winter time. Tell your Danish girlfriend to try make Arla's recipe for "Ostesuppe". It is a creamy leek cheese soup served with butter fried toast. It is so good and a winter favourite!

      Oh this sounds SO GOOD! I'm going to look it up!

    • @_-martin-_
      @_-martin-_ 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@ceer9141 In case you can't find it, here is the recipe:
      Butter 50 g
      Wheat flour 4 tablespoons
      Vegetable bouillon broth 2 L
      Natural cream cheese 25% 400 g (Philadelphia)
      Cream 2 dl
      Leeks 350 g
      Salt 1 teaspoon
      Pepper
      Melt the butter in a thick-bottomed pot over medium heat, but without browning. Add flour and bake well with the butter. Whip approx. 1/4 liter of the broth in and bring to a boil. Little by little, add the rest of the broth while stirring and cook for approx. 2 min. Add cream cheese and cream and let the soup cook over low heat until the cream cheese is melted. Add leeks (thinly cut) and heat the soup through. Adjust with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with white toast bread cut in small pieces and fried in butter in a pan.
