This is a truly wonderful tour, I loved every minute walking through this authentic and charming Victorian village. It doesn't get much cozier than in your cottage with the soft lighting and the little tree. It's all quite lovely.

Ahhh so is this similar to Secret Garden? Like Dickon's cottage? I never read the book as a child just saw the movie and I think it's really adorable. I like the description of the flowers that grow in the outcroppings, the little ponies that run around on the moor and thr gardens here remind me of the little vegetable patch that he grows talk to his mom
I would LOVE to visit here! I'ts like magically going back in time... I just wanted to say that , i can see why you loved that one cottage the most... the "poorer" cottage. I loved that one as well, it feels so authentic and real ❤❤❤😊

This would be my happy place always. I live in America, i have mostly English/ Welsh Ancestry on both sides, I know still makes me American, but I tend to lean more towards the European way of life and I study the Victorian time period, my home decorations are Victorian inspired or Victorian antiques, I also study Edwardian, the American time period during this, Civil War, Guilded Age, pretty much the 1300's to the 1930's, but the Victorian Era is my favorite. We have a few Villages like this, they are Colonial, up to Victorian, though they tend to lean more Colonial, but I love that time period as well, so I don't mind.
I’ve just watched this beautiful video and have booked to go in 3 weeks, been there a few times but never seen it at Xmas, thanks for a wonderful experience ❤ love from Shropshire ❤
Such a lovely town! I loved the decorations, very nostalgic. The music was perfect for this, too! You did a nice job presenting this place! It reminds me of Allaire State Park in Wall Township, NJ. I love this & have subscribed. Please share with the actual opening song & by whom. Please & thank you. I never grew up with very traditional Christmas songs. I want to improve on this & enjoy these historical classics.
The tree looks great. I use candle lights on my tree too and I think the fewer used the better it looks. I have two sets of 20 candles each, but only ever use one set. I love seeing the darker places on the tree. I always go for the cosy Christmas vibe provided it's not OTT, it's just a magical time of year
