Footage from March 8, 2022, has emerged, allegedly showing captured Ukrainian servicemen being treated at a hospital in Donetsk. On the other side of the conflict, captured Russian soldiers were shown at a press conference organised in Kyiv by Ukrainian authorities.The Russian Defence Ministry admitted on March 9 that the Russian prisoners included some conscripts. This, after Russia’s president said that conscripts would not be involved in the conflict. Officials claim to be seeking to ‘prevent the conscripts from being sent to combat areas and to have the captured servicemen released’.

My cousin once slammed face-first directly onto the pavement and sported those same kind of bruises.
They were beaten up for sure... and it's a stark difference with the ukrainian prisoners who look injured because of the war, not beaten up.

the saddest part is, ukrainian soldiers has a clear reason to fight. but the russian soldiers, they were given misleading orders and later realized something is wrong with their mission upon entering ukraine and saw civilians tragedy .
They know what their doing they just faking it because they got captured of course if you got captured by the enemy you will not tell the real plan is.

I mean if they were conscripted then they wouldn’t know about this but most of them are professional soldiers so they have a clear order and clear goal maybe from the beginning. But you gotta say you were tricked into this when you got captured, just like Ukrainian said they were abandoned and both side have showed that they both cooperate with their enemy (not 100% of them would do this interview but maybe most of them would cooperate at some rate)

Since no Country would sell military hardware to russia (even China is highly doubtful), the only way to resupply is to buy into your own dying economy.

Only after few weeks deploying the troops that they ‘found out’ that there are conscripts in the war. How pathetic. If its not because the Russian mothers voice their concerns regarding their children whereabouts I think the Russian army officials wont admit it.
They would. The thing is that some of these boys smuggled themselves into the ranks, believing that it would just be a routine patrol and guard duty sort of thing, expecting to get paid at the end. They never knew it was going to be real soldiering.

We’re all victims of propaganda to some degree, but you can generally tell who is closer to the truth and who is completely full of 💩 by looking at which governments have content filtering on their internet and which criminalize government criticism.
How we know these are real Ukraine soldiers? I don't see any evidence (e.g. uniform, badge, mentioned their unit number, ID, dog tags etc... soldiers got to have these right?... not to mean any disrespect but these could be civilian patients for all we know... all news must be scrutinised and validated. At least captured Russian soldiers had uniforms + badges on them (not to say it is automatically 100% proof but got more evidence to verify)...

Putin could also have waited until Ukraine is in NATO and then Georgia and Russia are gradually being squeezed out of the air they can breathe by NATO. You can see how much power the West has over Russia economically, why you have to wait and see what happens if NATO troops are in all countries on the Russian border?
