Welcome to SG. FYI about the cards, everyone pretty much gets their own card. Kids that are under 7 travel free, and if the kid reaches a certain height they will have to get a card for the concession. If you're going through school here they also give you school IDs that double as travel cards. There are a lot of different cards that cater to different people, but reminder just use one card per person is enough. There are top-up machines at every station if you run low.
I was in Singapore just one week ago. Sure makes sense to budget when you can especially as there are expenses you will face that you can't avoid that is if you want to have a memorable & exciting time there. As for when I arrived I had absolutely no patience to go through the process especially with luggage to do bus & mrt travel . Too much time wasted & hassle & once in the city you still have to get from the mrt station to the hotel. So always going to be a taxi for me plus they are not expensive anyway & a huge bonus to this is to experienced one of the greatest drives from the airport to the city witnessing all the trees & greenery its breathtaking. On the mrt you would miss all that.
I haven't had any fun lately, 😭 so it was fun. You bring me joy!❤🙂I love the kind and generous heartwarming atmosphere that you create, your kind, easygoing, warm vibe. ❤
Do you know about Changi Jewel? It is linked to Changi Airport Terminal 1, and is also accessible at T2 and T3 via a linkway. You will find a beautiful indoor waterfall inside. Don't miss it. It is a must-see to many tourists besides the Merlion Park and Marina Bay Sands.

Thank you so much for that info. On our next visit, we'll do that.
@@SQUEEZEtheDAY For some people, their watches are their card, so everyone has their own, either their watch, phone or ID.
