I recently returned from two weeks in Singapore. A few tips: The three day Singapore Tourist Pass is great value if you are zooming around. It gets hot in the middle of the day so walking too far isn't the best option. The Singapore Citymapper App frees you from the MRT and opens up the super cheap and extensive bus system. The Botanical Gardens are stunning and free. Buy an umbrella to put betwixt you and the sun/rain. Joo Chiat was my favourite suburb to explore Many of the 'coffee shops' (read small open air food plazas) offer better food and better ambiance than the hawker centres for a tiny increase in price. Avoid Lau Pa Sat Food Centre. Satay by the Bay is a better option. If you are not on too much of a budget, the National Gallery is stunning and opens up a profound insight into Singapore's culture and history. Enjoy. If you are looking for some where safe where you can drink the water and people live prosperous, dignified and enriched lives, Singapore is a winner.
I have to say its uncommon for first time visitors to head straight to Aljunied from the Airport! You guys have really done your research. As one who resides a walking distance from where you had your first meal (the chicken briyani), this really warms my heart. Shame i didnt discover this video earlier. Such a down to earth couple. :)
Actually I live in Singapore! Seeing this makes me so proud of my city! Oh and btw some peeps in Singapore actually use an Ezlink card for MRT and Bus services
Singaporean here, we would usually call places like the “restaurant” you went to (around 8:00) kopitiams/coffee shops, while restaurants are generally considered the fancier places. But it’s so cool to watch people have fun in my country :)
As a Singaporean, I feel sad that some locals here don't appreciate what they have and spoke negatively about their own country especially on a social platform. Perhaps they should try living in other countries which would satisfy/fulfill ALL their own needs, expectations and requirements which they find lacking in Singapore.
Singapore a nice place for people who likes cities. In terms of cities goes, Singapore is one of the best. But that's just it. It's a city. Unless you're a billionaire, you can't have your own garden and if you're outdoorsy, then Singapore is not a good place to live. Also Singapore has a very competitive environment.
Since you're in Singapore, i'd recommend checking out Changi Bay if the weather is clear. A few other places you can visit are Sentosa (full of beaches, activities & universal studios), Fountain of Wealth (at Suntec City) or Funan Mall (they've got Brompton Junction, loads of electronics & even a bicycle lane-though not in operation anymore due to covid restrictions). Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay is also nice at night!
Yeah, Singapore is quite different than the rest of Southeast Asia! 😂 The push to gentrify it in the 80's tore down many of the old neighborhoods so that the city would become the financial capital of the region, and it worked. It was also the first city I'd ever seen with an MRT that connected the airport to the downtown; I was there in 1991 and you could already do that. I love the lack of scooters and the fact that there are actually traffic laws (and they're followed).
@@jasonong2742 My sister picked me up at the airport but I met a girl on the plane who told me she was taking the train into town, so I assumed there was one.😆 That's funny!
@@chuenjinyang4513 I think the “scooters” is referring to motorcycles such as those in neighbouring SEA countries, not the PMD or PAB you’re referring to
This actually one of the most realistic vlogs I've ever seen. It's really refreshing how you guys are so chill and always follow budget-friendly plans. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Singapore and keep up with the good work!
Awesome video once again guys! For Singapore, I remember really enjoying walking around Chinatown and the temple there was pretty impressive too. It was my first city to explore in SEA so I remember being super impressed by how clean and organized everything was. Marina bay sands area was also a nice area to walk around As for Vietnam, not sure if you know Tim & Fin's channel on TH-cam but they also did the motorbike thing a few years ago and I remember enjoying that series. Enjoy yourselves!!
Couldn't agree more. It is so impressive how orderly and clean this city is! Thanks for the tips on Chinatown, will definitely check it out 🙂 We just watched the Tim and Fin documentary on their motorbike trip. Really seems like an adventure, we're so excited!

Hi Tia and Cheveyo, fellow Singaporean here! My partner and I have been enjoying your Cambodia videos a lot since we are heading there soon. Here are our recommendations for affordable food and areas/places to go in Singapore: - Jalan Besar Area - good food places include the Ponggol Nasi Lemak (Jalan Besar). Nasi Lemak is an iconic dish enjoyed by the locals and this place serves nasi lemak with very crispy fried chicken and fragrant chili on the side. The area is also home to the Beach Road Scissor-Cut Curry Rice and Swee Choon Tim Sum Restaurant. Swee Choon is on the pricier side, but they serve authentic dim sum that Singaporeans love. We recommend the Steamed Salted Egg Yolk Custard Bun and the Fried Mee Suah Kueh. To cool down, you can head to City Square Mall. - Kampong Glam - at its center stands the Sultan Mosque. The alleys of Kampong Glam are filled with interesting halal and fusion eateries and all sorts of ornament shops. Do check out the murals across the area as well. Our favourite food spots in the area include Overrice, Blanco Court Fried Fish Noodles and Pita Bakery - City Hall - National Museum of Singapore, National Gallery, Asian Civilisations Museum and Victoria Concert Hall are some nice places to visit. You’ll be able to see the Esplanade and Marina Bay Sands from afar as well. After that, you can head over to Hong Lim Market & Food Centre, where they have Ji Ji Wanton Noodle Specialist and Tuck Kee (Ipoh) Sah Hor Fun. - Chinatown, Tanjong Pagar, Telok Ayer - Chinatown Food Complex is a massive food galore, including Stall No: 043 Bedok Chwee Kueh (great for breakfast). You can also head to Maxwell Food Centre and the Singapore City Gallery. The whole vicinity is packed with interesting shops and cafes. - Other interesting local snacks that we love: Franchises like PrimaDeli serves freshly toasted waffles to go. Do also check out Toast Box too (multiple outlets in Singapore) - serves yummy Traditional Kaya Butter Toast and the Teh is my daily fuel. Old Chang Kee snack chains serve yummy curry puffs, a nostalgic childhood snack of many Singaporeans. There are so many interesting things to do beyond this list - let us know if you want to find out more about a specific area!
Singapore is awesome, was a great place for me in 1985 before all the major development, MRT was being constructed, prices were low, and Orchard Tower's Top 10 Club and the Rainbow Club across the street were hopping.
Get a bus to the Botanic Gardens, can spend the whole day there....beautiful. Love Singapore, so clean and pretty much crime free (cameras everywhere) and can drink the water lol
note all of these are coming from the perspective of a local so yea 5:10 2 things, 1. yea most people dont use taxis or private transportation in general. The MRT and bus systems are very efficient and much more cost effective. 2. "into the city" that always makes me laugh, like we be tiny, the whole place is a city! you could have probably stopped by bedok mall or tampines mall (both are literally at their respective MRT stns) for something to eat instead of heading all the way to ur hotel first. I normally go there w my friends and the food options are pretty good 6:32 yall could have probably taken the bus honestly, the max distance i normally walk is from mrt to bus stop or from bus stop to location, half a mile is a bit much :P 7:36 most of us (locals) wouldnt call that a restaurant, thats just ur local coffee shop. Restaurant in our minds means atas expensive food, tho ur not wrong in saying its good, 90% of the time, food court or coffee shop food are cheap and really good affordable or free options, aka my favorite hang out spots w my friends: (ik its a bit late and you've probably left the country already but eh why not) KINOKUNIYA, biggest bookstore in the country, absolutely THE place to go if you are a nerd like me :P (seriously tho ive been there wayyy too many times, cough 3 times in the past 2 weeks cough) the esplanade area. I normally go there for the esplanade library since they have the best music selection but you could look around there and take a bus down to the Olympic park. theres the singapore flyer and not too far off the helix bridge and marina bay sands. I've walked the route quite recently with one of my friends, idk if its a good tourist spot but its a nice scenic walk. typical tourists spots like the merlion, singapore river, gardens by the bay, etc etc most museums are around the same area too like the singapore national gallery or the national history museum and stuff, tho idk what the prices are for foreigners (normally students and elderly are free, singapore citizens either free or heavily subsidized)
This is awesome insight and information, thank you! We ate at that ‘coffee shop’ because we wanted to unload our bags first. That huge bookstore sounds amazing. We both like to read so that would be really fun 🙂
@@OnePackWanderers For the mopeds observation, they used to be pretty hot, delivery guys used to ride them all the time until a rash of irresponsible rider accidents happened and they got banned. It was pretty bad, delivery guys rushing to complete orders ran over and killed an elderly grandmother and colliding and blinding a schoolgirl when her glasses shattered from the impact were the most notable cases, so after a few more of these, they got banned. It's a pity, mopeds and e-scooters were a godsend for the delivery industry but it's unfortunate that time pressures cause riders to race the clock and put others in danger, blighting the situation for everyone.
Want to say, what sells this channel is both your personalities! Amazing couple and joyous individuals. We need more happy people like this in the world🙏😄
my recs as a singaporean is to look at neighbourhoods rather than the city skyscrapers. im sure there are good stuff there, but the neighbourhoods never lie, and sometimes the old is gold! people are generally nice here unless you are a weirdo in a bad sense and for getting around, sometimes walking is better than the bus or the mrt, especially in the city area. most of us grew up here or still live in the neighbourhoods now since young so if u can ask them about the area if you are lost you have the best guides
Recommendations: (1) Get out of Geylang each day; (2) Chinatown, LIttle India (go to Mustafa's) and Arab Street. All good and cheap to sightsee; (3) The waterfront is nice - especially at night - and free until you want to eat; (4) Walk walk walk; (5) Pastries underground (lower level) in Bugis mall; (6) Food courts, food courts and more food courts; and (7) Come back when you have a bunch of money.
Hawker Chan, a street-food vendor in Singapore, sells the world's cheapest Michelin-starred meal: a chicken-and-rice dish - usually simply called "chicken rice" - that costs 3 Singapore dollars, or about $2.25. The founder and chef, Chan Hon Meng, was first awarded a Michelin star in Singapore's inaugural guide in 2016 and has received a star every year since.
@@curtis80291 yeah the other side that is vibrant, down to earth and slightly cynical and self flagellating, with a great mix of culture and food. Your point?

Hi Vietnam vet here, first trip in 1968, I fell in love with the land and people. You will love it, go to Hoi An. Very touristy but it is unique. We will watch your adventures with intrest and with a litle envy ! Frank Stephens
Regarding bike ride in Vietnam: There is a youtube channel that I follow “TIM and FIN”. They have two trips in different time that they rode from South to North Vietnam and also a trip for the Ha Giang Loop! Good luck!
Spend an evening at the Supertree Grove (outside Gardens by the Bay) and watch the music & light show which is absolutely free, if you have not already done so. Then have a nice walk to Satay by the Bay for some satay, chicken wings, stingray and tiger beer. Cheers!
Maybe for a change from where you come from Singapore is a good breakaway! you can literally finish sightseeing within three days As she's a tiny island!
Free stuffs to do, lights show at Gardens By The Bay, Haw Par Villa -Tiger Balm, Botanical Garden. - Orchid Garden, I think $5 entry. Pulau Ubin, Haji Lane, Ramadan at Geylang Serai. Check out Buddha Tooth Relic, India Temples. Lunch at Little India. Enjoy!
@9:52, think u r in Geylang….over there u can try the beef Hor fun, frog leg porridge…n beancurd…n right now in Singapore, the Muslim r fasting, so in the evening, they’ll b breaking fast…n having Ramadan…n in Geylang Serai, they r hosting pasar malam, Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar
Guys! You are in Singapore during the Ramadhan period! Go check out Geylang Serai to bask in the Ramadhan period. The area becomes alive after 5pm and its quite near to where your hotel are! Go check it out! ✌🏽. There are night market too with local delicacies since you guys love night market!
I knew it!! Vietnam is a must and will blow your mind away with the food and how cheap it is. The amount of mopeds you will see in HCM is crazy. Singapore is so great. Eat only at hawker centers for cheap delicious food. Mall Food courts aren’t bad in orchard as well.
@@OnePackWanderers yes!! Enjoying the vids. I am coincidentally doing Bali followed by Singapore in October. Vietnam would have been my preference but I am not on the eligible 80 e visa countries. Make sure to have the lamb murtabak in the Arab community. Get it with pulled tea tarik!! Singapore is one of my favorites but accommodation is too expensive.
Where were you at - Ibis Budget - is in Geylang. That road Sims Avenue runs parallel to Geylang Road - both are quite long. Geylang Road itself has some 50 side streets (called "lorongs" there); one side is numbered odd, the other even. After Lorong 1 is Kallang, with its river and park. After Lorong 45 onwards, that's where Geylang Serai is, a former Malay enclave. At the Geylang Serai Hawker Centre is where you'll find even better Malay and Indian curry dishes. The Nasi Padang sort - white rice with assorted dishes Malay/Indonesian style. The even lorongs in Geylang (2 to 20 approx) is where the famous redlight district of S'pore is; however, it is mostly cleaned up (partly due to Covid and "business" has moved indoors. - why the many budget hotels there now. The odd lorongs are (or were) where where the families and businesses are. Businesses on the ground floor, families in the apartments above. These low-rise apartments are iconic in Geylang and S'pore for their back alleys and spiral staricases. In the past, this long stretch of Geylang (before the well-known Malay "Serai" section where S'pore's largest Malay kampung once existed), - lorongs 1 to 45 were hoem to mostly Chinese families and businesses. But as the businesses (even assorted factories) were moved out to designed industrial parks, Geylang lost much of its character. And with families moving out as well, Geylang has become somewhat soulless, not populated by foreign workers (from China), which explains there many Chinese eateries there. There used to be a popular all-night dim sum eatery between Lor 15 and 17 along Sims Ave. Not sure if it is still there. Yes, Geylang is well know as an entertainment centre e.g. (cabaret and KTV bars) and food (makan, Malay) place. I believe Geylang as an area was developed as an extension of Chinatown, when that got overcrowded and dilapidated. Not surprisingly, quite a few opium dens moved there as well. Why you find also many Chinese clan associations and temples there as well. (Challenge: See if you can find a Wing Chun kung-fu association there. "wink wink
You are staying in Geylang? Lots of good food there. My favourite beef hor fun is at Mongkok Dim Sim near Geylang Lorong 8. Also try the frog porridge at Geylang. Enjoy your time here.
Henlooo, a Singaporean hereeee! I am actually so happy that you find my country to be so enjoyable! I think I might be a little too late for suggestions, But I do hope you can come back to Singapore next time again to try these few places! -Google map your way to "Northpoint" it is a huge shopping centre with sooooo many restaurants ranging from so many different cuisines to eat! And there are so many shops there you could get lost in there! -The Singapore Ferris Wheel. When I was little I went onto the ferris wheel and oh my god it was so high up but fun! I'm not sure if it is open now but I recommend you go there sometimes too! -You can also just walk around a neighbourhood called "Yishun" Yishun is where "Northpoint" is located at, there is also cinema there called "golden village". I recommend for you guys to go Yishun when it is a Saturday or Sunday if you like crowds :p you will be able to see the hustle and bustle of Saturdays and Sundays here in Singapore! Out of context of places to visit, I find Singapore to be very special, as it Is country,an island and a city all in one! I hope you had enjoyed your stay here in Singapore! Come visit again!! :DD
oh wow i didn’t know you could just tap in to the MRT. previously i had to activate my bank card at the counter before i could use it as MRT card. that was a while back though. huh i guess now you can use any card or phone that has paywave function.
Welcome to Singapore! Do check out the Katong/Joochiat area that is not too far from your hotel. I also highly recommend trying Seng Kee Mee Sua that is a few train stations away from where you're staying! (they close at 2am!)
Not sure if you could read this as I just discover your channel through this video but I would highly recommend you to travel from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi by train if you want to experience sceneries or plane if you just want to skip entirely rather than by motorbike. The route is quite bad for motorbikes as there are a lot of trailers with disregard to laws and traffic. I have been born and raised in Vietnam and news about tragic accident on 1A route between vehicles are far too often. I wouldn't travel with bike even if you challenged me. Live is good, stay safe.
Singapore Chinatown is best place to hangout and remember to visit their market in the morning which offer galores of Asian foods. Joo Chiat area is another coolest place for coffee and read novel.
Welcome to my country. We have many areas that are really efficient and many that have still room for improvements. But as a nation i am glad it's very compact and easy to travel around. That can be a con too but i will leave it to another discussion! Cheers~
If not wrong there's a guy bitten by an otter at Kallang Riverside in this month? He was following and shot when he saw many otters during morning run, and attacked by a big otter in the end lol~
Must go to the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam, but must include the sub country too. Do not forget. Each country said to have a population of more than one hundred million people. It will make the number of followers more than a hundred thousand people from Thai people.
Good vibes. Welcome to Singapore. Have a great time walking around the Marina Bay area, Chinatown, Little India and also it's Ramadan now so head down to Geylang Serai to feast on the food at the Ramadan Bazaar.
Hanoi to Sapa Town on a motor bike is an unforgettable experience, it's about 6 hours through some of the most scenic rice fields. Can get very cool as you get closer to Sapa. Sapa is a Nice mountain village lots to film, ok safe journey.
I suggest you guys getting lavaliere microphones, the wearable microphones improves the quality so much, or a shotgun microphone. I also noticed your using a iPhone as the camera, for a starter is actually a really good camera but the microphone ain't the best.
In SG, must check out local hawker centres around sg. At night can check out for Garden by the bay super tree, Marina Bay area, Clarke Quay/Boat Quay, Haji Lane. Also little India, Chinatown & Sentosa etc.
Please go and visit Sapa after u reach Hanoi. Then ride around villages in Sapa. And then try to ride motorbike from Sapa to Cao Bang, you will get awesome scenic view on the way

6:32 yall could have probably taken the bus honestly, the max distance i normally walk is from mrt to bus stop or from bus stop to location, half a mile is a bit much :P
7:36 most of us (locals) wouldnt call that a restaurant, thats just ur local coffee shop. Restaurant in our minds means atas expensive food, tho ur not wrong in saying its good, 90% of the time, food court or coffee shop food are cheap and really good
affordable or free options, aka my favorite hang out spots w my friends: (ik its a bit late and you've probably left the country already but eh why not)
KINOKUNIYA, biggest bookstore in the country, absolutely THE place to go if you are a nerd like me :P (seriously tho ive been there wayyy too many times, cough 3 times in the past 2 weeks cough)
the esplanade area. I normally go there for the esplanade library since they have the best music selection but you could look around there and take a bus down to the Olympic park. theres the singapore flyer and not too far off the helix bridge and marina bay sands. I've walked the route quite recently with one of my friends, idk if its a good tourist spot but its a nice scenic walk.
typical tourists spots like the merlion, singapore river, gardens by the bay, etc etc
most museums are around the same area too like the singapore national gallery or the national history museum and stuff, tho idk what the prices are for foreigners (normally students and elderly are free, singapore citizens either free or heavily subsidized)
This looks incredible! Thank you for taking us along with you!
Welcome to Singapore! So glad to see you're enjoying our city!
WELCOME TO SINGAPORE!
Visit the Hawker Center at East Coast Park and get a bike down to Marina Bay Sands area via the bike path along the east coast.
As a Singaporean I happy that you guys came to Singapore
Welcome to Singapore! You are on the East side. Go find Katong Laksa....that road it is on is full of good food!
The foods in Singapore were SO GOOD and so cheap. I miss them so much.
Honestly so happy that tourists are having a great time in Singapore. Feels so proud HAHAHAHA
Glad you folks like it here.
All good and cheap to sightsee; (3) The waterfront is nice - especially at night - and free until you want to eat; (4) Walk walk walk; (5) Pastries underground (lower level) in Bugis mall; (6) Food courts, food courts and more food courts; and (7) Come back when you have a bunch of money.
hi, QiaoLingVlog coming, and welcome to Singapore
Hawker Chan, a street-food vendor in Singapore, sells the world's cheapest Michelin-starred meal: a chicken-and-rice dish - usually simply called "chicken rice" - that costs 3 Singapore dollars, or about $2.25. The founder and chef, Chan Hon Meng, was first awarded a Michelin star in Singapore's inaugural guide in 2016 and has received a star every year since.
Glad you enjoyed Singapore. I must be double your age but I did not know you could use Apple Pay to get through MRT gantry... Come again soon!
You can use any card to turn the lights on. You don't have to use the room card. I use my Costco card. I never knew it until recently
Wow, I can't believe we never thought to try this 😂 Such a good trick.
Garden by the bay, melion park light show, marine parade beach walk, sungei Buloh wetland reserve, and macrachit reservoir nature walk etc, etc
For the trains they are called MRTs and the restaurant is called a koptitiam or food court
Welcome to singapore. So glad you finally dropped by
I love Singapore! Such a clean, modern and beautiful city
you only see one side
@@curtis80291 as a singaporean i agree too
@@curtis80291 yeah the other side that is vibrant, down to earth and slightly cynical and self flagellating, with a great mix of culture and food. Your point?
@@Jinkypigs other side as in expensive, stressful & boring.
Botanic gardens free entry. Visit Orchard , shopping haven n most 8f not all have air con food courts but only slightly more expensive than open air hawkets.
Like how you head straight into the heart of singapore vice scene in geylang from the airport.
You reunited with Lisa and Josh again!!💖💗💕
For Singapore, meet the otters!! I can’t remember the name of the water park but THE OTTERS ARE SO ADORABLE!!!
Singapore zoo???
@@kymwright263 There are a few family of wild otters roaming around Singapore, that's why you can see the sign about otters at 10:02 mark. :)
Here's a video of a family of otters leaving the Istana (where the president of Singapore lives) and crossing the busy central town road.

Omg I'm so glad you liked Singapore!!!
I saw in the video you walked past Mongkok Dim Sum near Geylang Lorong 8. Try the food there.
Oh cool, I'm in Singapore too.
Well I don't usually leave Singapore.
The light show at MBS. I think it is about eight pm most evenings
Hi Vietnam vet here, first trip in 1968, I fell in love with the land and people. You will love it, go to Hoi An. Very touristy but it is unique. We will watch your adventures with intrest and with a litle envy ! Frank Stephens
If they go to Vietnam they won't leave Da Nang!
Regarding bike ride in Vietnam: There is a youtube channel that I follow “TIM and FIN”. They have two trips in different time that they rode from South to North Vietnam and also a trip for the Ha Giang Loop! Good luck!
good suggestion, they helped me
Agreed with this recommendation!
welcome to singapore!
Love you guys, you guys are so contented and with beautiful smiles
Spend an evening at the Supertree Grove (outside Gardens by the Bay) and watch the music & light show which is absolutely free, if you have not already done so. Then have a nice walk to Satay by the Bay for some satay, chicken wings, stingray and tiger beer. Cheers!
Hope you both enjoyed the trip and explored the food haven!
Brilliant Vietnam on mopeds be amazing just out of Saigon don't miss the Chu chi tunnels .
sentosa, the resort island is free to enter and enjoy the beaches if you want. You can take the free monorail in. Food is a bit pricy though
I love Singapore ,I love to see you guy,you guy are awesome ,gorgeous.
Maybe for a change from where you come from
Singapore is a good breakaway!
you can literally finish sightseeing within three days
As she's a tiny island!
Enjoy!

Guys! You are in Singapore during the Ramadhan period! Go check out Geylang Serai to bask in the Ramadhan period. The area becomes alive after 5pm and its quite near to where your hotel are! Go check it out! ✌🏽. There are night market too with local delicacies since you guys love night market!
Ah! Thank you for the tip, that's so lucky that we're here right now 🙂
I knew it!! Vietnam is a must and will blow your mind away with the food and how cheap it is. The amount of mopeds you will see in HCM is crazy. Singapore is so great. Eat only at hawker centers for cheap delicious food. Mall
Food courts aren’t bad in orchard as well.
You did predict it 🙂
We ate at a hawker center last night and I have no idea why the whole world doesn't do this 😂
@@OnePackWanderers yes!!
Wow that waterfall looks amazing
:DD
Google maps ur way to northpoint but also google map ur way in northpoint AHAHH I can’t count the number of times I got lost in that place 💀
The restaurant you walked past at 9:38 has great dumplings
Holy cow you guys!! You got over 100k views!!! Good frickin job.
welcome to SG! Be sure to try food from all Culture and races here or even better mix and match!
Go to the Botanic Gardens, Chinatown and Little India. Sample the food.
Welcome to Singapore hope to see you around. From Singapore
oh wow i didn’t know you could just tap in to the MRT. previously i had to activate my bank card at the counter before i could use it as MRT card. that was a while back though. huh i guess now you can use any card or phone that has paywave function.
It feels like the future 😎
Fountain active, great!!
welcome to Singapore!! so happy yall enjoyed your stay here ❤️
Welcome to Singapore!
Thank you very much for looking out for us! If we do the bike trip, we will take a more western route and avoid 1A.
Singapore Chinatown is best place to hangout and remember to visit their market in the morning which offer galores of Asian foods. Joo Chiat area is another coolest place for coffee and read novel.
Hi! Singaporean here... make sure to visit sentosa island!! 😄😄😃 Have fun exploring!!!!
I used to pass that restaurant when I was in Singapore. I was staying in Geyaldn Hotel 81 Gold.
Welcome to my country. We have many areas that are really efficient and many that have still room for improvements. But as a nation i am glad it's very compact and easy to travel around. That can be a con too but i will leave it to another discussion! Cheers~
From a foreigner’s perspective Singapore does seem like a very well run city/country!
@@OnePackWanderers 😆
If not wrong there's a guy bitten by an otter at Kallang Riverside in this month?
He was following and shot when he saw many otters during morning run, and attacked by a big otter in the end lol~
Deja vu! I stayed in the same hotel and ate at the same restaurant, perhaps sat in the same table. Thanks for the memories!
Small world! It's not a bad restaurant at all.
We are actually staying in Geylang so that's lucky 🙂
@@OnePackWanderers so lucky! enjoy the foods at the bazaar!
7:37 it's actually more like a hawker center - nice one
SG is a fun place the malls are awesome u can buy almost everything there.
hope u had fun!!
We had so much fun, we want to come back soon! Really great city 🙂
Check out the night safari. It is quite an experience.
Hanoi to Sapa Town on a motor bike is an unforgettable experience, it's about 6 hours through some of the most scenic rice fields. Can get very cool as you get closer to Sapa. Sapa is a Nice mountain village lots to film, ok safe journey.
Singapore is totes expensive. Get yourself to Orchard Towers if you fancy a night out. It’s an eye opener to say the least 😬
Being a singaporean, im happy that you both enjoyed yourselves! Haha welcome to singapore;)
Thank you 😊
I suggest you guys getting lavaliere microphones, the wearable microphones improves the quality so much, or a shotgun microphone. I also noticed your using a iPhone as the camera, for a starter is actually a really good camera but the microphone ain't the best.
Yes indeed, we will need a solution for the mics at some point.
In SG, must check out local hawker centres around sg. At night can check out for Garden by the bay super tree, Marina Bay area, Clarke Quay/Boat Quay, Haji Lane. Also little India, Chinatown & Sentosa etc.
I live in Singapore, hope you enjoyed your stay.😌
Please go and visit Sapa after u reach Hanoi. Then ride around villages in Sapa. And then try to ride motorbike from Sapa to Cao Bang, you will get awesome scenic view on the way
Thank you for the recommendation! Sapa looks absolutely beautiful.
Yes, you need to visit Sapa. Nice mountains and crisp cool air. Meet the lovely tribal people living there.
If you are heading to Hanoi don't miss Sapa. For the best food in Singapore always eat at our Hawker Centres.
Sapa is fast becoming the top recommendation we're getting about northern Vietnam. Looks stunning. Thank you for the recommendations 🙂
