PODS is the worst! We hired them a few years ago to move out of Nashville and back home to Michigan. They did not come at all! We cancelled our order and used the U-Haul boxes instead. We loved Nashville, though. Lived there for 6 years, but just wanted to be back by grandparents, siblings, and cousins. Praying all goes well with you there. 👍

As a military wife I agree with you in that moving is incredibly stressful! We have moved more times than I can count over the last 15 years... and each time I have become more and more a minimalist 🤣 I have also learned a ton of moving hacks to get it done quickly and efficiently... so while stressful I’m sure you gained a lot of knowledge through this experience. Best of luck on the move and safe travels!

I moved last March and it’s insane how long packing takes. You pack non stop for 4 hours then you look around and it seems like you haven’t done anything 😭😭 Beginning to understand the tiny house rage. Good luck to you guys xx

I didn't know hubby was a fellow leftie, right on! Congrats on the move to Nashville!
We moved from our home of 12 years after my husband passed away suddenly, and I moved back closer to my family. I moved with 7 children (our 5 & 2 fostered). It was so much work. Emotional...forget it, especially packing my husband's things. You see how much crap you have with so many people and after 23 yrs of marriage, and having the strongest one gone didn't help with the heavy lifting.

Shocking about the pod. We had the removalists push us into early morning but then they didn’t show up until 2pm & I get the feeling it’s only because I called up rather unimpressed. Make sure you let the head office know they were unacceptably late.
