love the red in the hair, it looks great. I am glad you didn't color over it with the dark just yet. 100% ALL FOR DOING YOUR OWN HAIR! CUT IT!
Also, for medium brown hair like Bowie you need darker shades to really show up. I am surprised none of the blue took but it probably wasn't dark enough.
Also Castor oil is your best friend! Also coconut oil, both so good for your hair.

You can use thinning sheers for your hair, I have extremely thick hair and I thin out my own hair every 2-3 months and it gives layers. Good luck. Love the color!
Ok, FIRST, hair is a 10! Keep it till its pale again and then do phase 2 lol. Why not if it washes out eventually and makes her happy? She looks great and is happy with the colors why are you such a kill joy?
