@@nicolejdhdjeudjxnsnsksj2528 I can’t wait to check out the garden. I’m currently training for my second half marathon this year, but more videos will be coming soon.
Dave, this is a fantastic video! The Gandalf drop was just icing on the cake haha And good call going with the hardware cloth, that stuff is invaluable in a garden and should do the trick -- I also want to confirm that we use cardboard as well, and just like you said, it's safe if the glue and tape is removed. Not only that, but it's also a huge money saver over going with 100% soil and over time becomes soil itself. I can also sympathize with the air quality issues and heat, I've done my share of installs in Armageddon like conditions from nearby fires lol Thank you for the awesome video Dave!
@@DripDepotAdam Hey Adam! It’s always great to see you here on the channel. Let’s hope I don’t get hit with a copyright infringement because I plan to continue to use more Lord of the rings references 😂. Several years ago, I wouldn’t have known about using cardboard to help reduce weeds around the garden. The great thing about TH-cam is we have so much knowledge available for free. By any chance have you considered making a video on a solar drip irrigation system? If I had the budget, I would love to set up a system where I can collect rainwater along with energy from the sun.
@@GardeningwithDave Dave, if they copyright strike you for Gandalf, we'll take a journey and throw their servers into Mount Doom :p Fully agreed on TH-cam being such a source of knowledge, I've learned how to do so many things -- I can't imagine being a homeowner (or car owner or pet owner!) without TH-cam now. I have definitely been wanting to make a video on solar irrigation! I touched on it in one video but we had to cut it since the company went out of business -- which is unfortunate because their product was fantastic, it was a solar powered pump that came complete with tubing and drippers and a suction line with a filter on it -- and it worked beautifully. It also stay charged in just ambient light, couldn't ask for more from a solar setup. This is 100% on my radar though, I love the idea of using the sun as an energy source -- that along with smart watering makes it all so much more earth-friendly. Gravity systems are another one of my favorites for the same reason. I'll see about getting a solar video moved up in the queue and ping you when we upload it. In the meantime, let me know if we need to round up the fellowship to make a journey to Mt Doom 😁
Hey! You should check out your neighbors garden bed now 😊🤭
