Thanks for joining me on this garden tour! What’s your favorite tropical plant to grow? And be sure to share your thoughts with Jefferson, too - he’ll love hearing from you! 😄🪴
@@wendiland I love to grow pineapples. Was that you that split your tops into four parts before planting? It’s a great idea. I also have a huge moringa which is actually a very bushy variety with large leaves. We love to make Sinigang and curries and put the leaves in. The yard in the video is just perfect for growing!!
I’m a Naturopath Practitioner for 25 years. 64 years old and widowed for 10 years. Plants are my anti-stress reliever. Glad i found your so cool channel. That garden of your friend looks like it was planted with a lot of care. For me, I love to grow gynura procumbens for it’s a kind of vegetable or medicinal plant that really helps my diabetic and hypertensive patients. Thank you, Wendi, for your precious informations and generosity. 🥰 Keep on sharing.
@ if you ever come to Florida check out Kanapaha in Gainesville. They have one of the largest tropical bamboo collections in US. It is something to see. You, John and Jake Mace inspired me to start my own food forest. Six years later I have no room left to plant anything on the ground and had to shift to collecting bromeliads 😭.
@@TheChenny73 So 6 years later you have the same problem as me. Haha!! Wow, I was one of the inspirations. Wow, thank you! Haha Will try to keep Kanapaha in mind. :D
Beautiful garden, but... I am honestly tired of people showcasing growing something in a tropical climate. You are not needed there! Nature will grow everything without your sustainability. Showcase please how to grow food and garden in arid and semi-arid areas. That would require a brain power👍
