Key being "two loving parents" a parent can be in the home and be abusive or a very bad parent. In which case it is best to be a single parent.

It's a very dangerous precedent to have women becoming more comfortable with the idea of being a single parent. How can you expect future men to get better if they aren't being raised by fathers? I understand the need for child support but it may have the same effect as it has in the west where women will start initiating break ups BECAUSE they will be financially subsidized rather than the man ghosting. Men have to do better absolutely, but women need to start requiring more before baring men's children.

everything has downsides as well. no question.
but what about the child? do you even think about its situation? shouldn't the state do something against the guy just running away?
technically he is not really running. he is still there, just betrays his child for the financial support it is entitled to.
I don't understand that you worry about what "bad stuff" women might do next.

That's what a system of alimony does, not child support. As long as the child support amounts are reasonable and shift with the father's income level. The idea of sending a man to prison because he lost his job and can't pay child support, is abhorrent to me. It doesn't help the child get payments.

@@jpjay1584 Women didn't leave their man in generations past because she couldn't survive without him. In America the introduction of the great society where women could leave their man and begin using government to subsidize her being a single mother the single mother rate exploded into what it is today. The Philippines will be no better especially with women like Beauti's sister. Instead of men leaving the home, it'll start becoming the women. Since as mentioned in the video many men are jobless, this doesn't do anything for the child.

What if the woman take the child away from the man, so she can get child support?
This happens a lot in the states.
I think that there should be no child support, unless one parent is physically abusive or they choose to temporarily relinquish their right to shared custody due to work or other circumstances.
If two couples separate, custody should be shared custody, so each parent takes 50% responsibilities of the child.
If one parent can’t financially provide for the kids, then let the parent who can provide get primary custody of the kids.

Here in In Pennsylvania, child support is calculated using a complex equation that considers the number of children, parent income, and average cost of raising a child. The amount of child support a parent pays is based on the following guidelines:
Combined monthly income up to $30,000
The monthly child support schedule is based on the number of children and is as follows:
One child: $3,608 plus 4% of the combined monthly income over $30,000
    Two children: $4,250 plus 4%
    Three children: $4,951 plus 4.7%
    Four children: $5,530 plus 5.3%
    Five children: $6,083 plus 5.8%
    Six children: $6,613 plus 6.3%

I've asked many Pinay about why they don't want the support; they've told me they were the one who insisted upon no contraception of any type. It's why many expats say they must have the snip but not disclose it. It's part of Utang na loob. They want a child as their retirement plan (like they are to their parents). This creates narcissism and BPD which makes relationships purely transactional and heartless.

Spot on. We do this in the USA and it's a nightmare and ineffective. It creates huge costly bureaucracy, has encouraged single parenthood, which made the problem worse. We are reaping the devastation of single parent households now, that don't have the support of the family. Crime, murder, destroyed communities. Give the single parent rights to pursue the Dad on their own, but Federal government should not be getting involved in family matters. Bureaucrats destroy everything they touch.

The problem here is that primary custody is given to the women by default and the man has to fight to get custody. I think custody in the western countries should be shared 50/50 between both parents, so no child support is required from either parents.
Both parents should be equally responsible for the child and that’s part of equality.
Child support should be for the child’s needs, but the government is making wealthy men pay $100k a month for child support which is mind blowing to me and they don’t track how that money is being spent.
Rather making a parent pay child support, give the child to parent that can afford the child

However, I hope from a good idea it goes down the madness that most western countries have where the dads are seen as a cash cows.

Its been this way in tue USA for decades.
But the parent who has custody of the kids has to apply for child support to get it
And of course there are moms who have a handfull of kids just to get an easy paycheck while the dads are struggling to pay support in order to stay out of jail for not paying.
Here in the USA child support enforcement can suspend your drivers license, business license ,take your tax refunds if you get more than $5,000USD behind in support.

ok. this is going to be a long comment. first, i love the behind the scene videos. those are your more interesting videos in my opinion and i like them because it helps me get to know the energy and culture more of the country and people.
it's funny though, before i discovered behind the scenes, i was just going through your videos and watched your first live with your friend and sister. i thought being shy and possibly a little depressed and reserved makes for a boring video haha but you sister had a really interesting energy about her and i was thinking you needed to include her in more videos and especially do some videos when it's just you and her....and here they are. i was happy to see that. i think she's more of a 1 on one type of person rather than more people.
but listening to her story was very amazing and i really respect her a lot to not accept child support even though the less money could be harder hurdle. to sacrifice the money to do what she knows is right for herself and the child is pretty amazing because a lot of people would take the money and then there is a chance it opens the doors for the guy to come in to the lives again. that right there tells a lot about a person. i don't think she should feel guilty of any "burdon" on the sister or the parents though. i can tell everyone supports this situation and that child is being loved and i don't think anyone would want the situation any other way and because of that, it's not a burdon
not only was i impressed by some of those questions, but i was more impressed by how they were answered so openly and honestly. some of those questions were tough to be open about when someone is so reserved and private and just being open to all those questions tells a lot about a person too. it's not easy
i don't know if this was in this video or another one but when she was talking about not having a job for years, i totally felt that internal struggle on many levels. and saying she doesn't want to have kids anymore because of her past experience. that stuff almost made me cry. that all stemmed from depression that grew stronger over time which got progressively worse. that is so tough to watch when it's coming from good people inside.
you two are pretty awesome people on the inside and i think that is a testament to your parents and how you were raised. really good energy that comes from both of you. personally aside from the new behind the scenes, i think you and your sister need to create more videos together and she needs to continue to force herself outside her comfort zone. this is still a part of a healing journey for her. we shouldn't do just what we want. we should always do what we actually NEED and we have to force ourselves.
anyway, i was watching your videos recently but never subscribed but today i subscribed. it's a really good channel and i also like the creativity that goes in to it sometimes. i am watching the videos on youtube right now because i plan on visiting the country soon with my filipino friend from the state who is actually building a house there right now for his vacation home for his family and i want to know everything about the culture and people more than what i learned from my friend and his own family in the states

This is going to be a complete disaster for the Philippines, as it has been in most western countries.
In the UK it has only made more women ending up as single parents as it is now financially beneficial for them to live without the father of the child. They can also go out and have sex with however they want without taking responsibility for their actions and without them having to worry, regarding the consequence.
I have no problem with the concept that both parties should take responsibility for their actions, but in the Philippines are they in a position to financially do that, I do not think so.

Yeah it's not as simple as it being made out to be. Especially if the child was born out of wedlock. Naturally some type of paternity would have to be established. DNA because if not then there's going to be a lot of spiteful women out there that's going to wrongfully accuse a man to get that child support for revenge.
Back in 2019 when I was at the United States consulate office there in Cebu I remember these three Filipino women was trying to get the United States consulate office to acknowledge that the one child that each had was from Americans. They mentioned the men by name. So when the consulate office ask them about do they have established paternity such as a blood test or DNA all three of those women immediately came up with all kinds of excuses. They just kept saying but it's his child but it's their child. Oddly enough the children didn't even look mixed. It's easy for me to notice that since I have seen many mixed children. At that time I believe the women was attempting to get dual citizenship and get that social security number for the kids which once again didn't Even resemble mixed kids. All three of those kids were dark Morena. The reason why I mentioned this is because hopefully one of the criterias of the child support would be there has to be established paternity for children born out of wedlock. Because if not then I'm sure a lot of these embassies around here are going to be full of people trying to get their hands on some kind of documentation so that way they can go after the foreigner that they fooled around with and has that perceived big money income and at the same time protect their local Filipino boyfriend Even though there's a good 99% chance the child was the Filipino boyfriends all along.

@@urbanws1234 you are assuming way to much. i agree though that life is about learning from our experiences which will make us better people. however there was nothing philosphical about your questions because they were based on obvious observations and assumtions. your trying to put pieces of a puzzle together in the wrong places that don't fit. you assume the kid is a burdon for people. you assume she is not taking support from the father seriously and in a joking mannor without much thought. that wasn't a prayer for reflection when you are being subjective. that is literally being intrusive and judgemental and looking down on people because you have a different way you are seeing things. and then you bring up "prayer" for reflection to insinuate you know what god's will is for her. there is A LOT more going on here than what the obvious is. what people struggle with sometimes when they listen is to recognize all the underlying stuff. they only see the surfacy stuff. they fail to see the journey a person was on and is on and plans to be on. they have a hard time understanding what their body movements say or what their tone of voice says and in this instance what a laughter means. they have trouble reading people beyond the actual surface of a person. this is what you struggle with. you have trouble reading people. it's not me that would be the mark. it would be the person who struggles reading people. what makes me a mark and will ALWAYS make me a mark is that i love and care about people extremely and always want to help them. a lot of people take advantage of people like that but for me, i would rather be this way and get hurt or taken advantage of than not be myself in helping others. that's a choice. not a mark. i understand perfectly well what the pros and cons of my personal choices are. you seem to think i am clueless. i am actually not. it's why i was able to call you on your bullshit because i can read you too.. you actually believe what you are saying because that's all you know....the surface. it seems like a person who talks about reflection should be able to see the deeper levels of things.... AND the fact that it's not up to us to judge and worse yet, tell people what to do under our own moral code or religious code and to assume she didn't reflect on any of what you said is ignorant and probably not true....

My son's mom left us when my son was 16 months old and I raised him by myself. Drugs and alcohol were more important to her than our son,and she left with another guy too. I have studied this topic for sometime and seems most Asian countries have similar child support laws however they are rarely enforced. This is truly an epidemic, and from the mini single moms I have talked to it is rare the father has a care in the world about his own children. The Asian man to me in general is a sad pathetic irresponsible excuse of a man that runs away, abandoning his own blood even if the mom was going to go to court and try to enforce the Wawa to get support, it is really a waste of time because it is so ingrained and even will have a threatening or violent reaction from the man. This is all very destructive in the whole culture Society, and especially for young males growing up with no father, which I know all too well. Then you have the overseas worker the mom that leaves her kids with a sister or her parents, and the child is growing up without any real parent at all, not the same. That is way too typical. Then you have the mom that alienates the father and even if he wants to be part of their life she is playing games to make it nearly impossible and make it a very uncomfortable situation for him to be the dad.. this all effects so much of different cultures it is definitely a global epidemic. Dads are a very crucial role in the child's development, so sad to see🙏😘🙏

Truth. I've discovered extreme levels of narcissism and BPD too. Of course, these types look for walking ATM's and empaths for supply. The parents (both sides) often lack the sense of bonding with unconditional love and often let ya-ya's and relatives raise their future 401K plan. It's purely about "Utang na loob", conditional love, a Stockholm Syndrome type of attachment. Children owe the parents and must send money home, etc. The 4% trust in others (see Our World in Data) is another contributor. Child support is a good concept but when the government gets involved they always screw it up. One of the reasons men are leaving America to find a lady in the Philippines is because the Laws in America turn men into slaves. They take money from men not based upon what is needed for the child, but the maximum amount they can TAKE from the men. Now America is faced with a severe decline in marriages and the number of children being born. For the first time in history America has a declining population.
