    You can call yourself a "pro". This is excellent! I wish I had one of these only bigger to use as a blanket chest! Great job!!!

    I enjoyed this video very much, especially the camera work, it added a little comedy once in awhile. What I like about your video's is that you don't sit there and go into all kinds of details about measuring angles and overly concerned with being real specific about things. I see some of the comments people are complaining about that as well the camera work - haters gonna hate I guess! Excellent build and keep up the good work with the camera and the simplicity of your construction work!!

    Damn! Coolest pirate treasure chest ever, mate. Well done. I am so going to try this. I reckon it possibly could have used a hasp lock on it though; I mean, seriously, no self respecting pirate wants other blokes playing with his baubles, do they?
    Well done on the camera work, too. It reminded me of that one time, back in the 60s, at Yasgur's Farm. Pretty sure I threw up then, too. Cheers.

    How many hours? and, 'how much in materials'?
    I am just trying to work out an end value ($) for the chest you built.

    • @craftlingsworkshop
      @craftlingsworkshop  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Simon!
      It took me about 6 or 7 hours i think. I would estimate the material costs were about 40 or 50 Euro/Dollar.
      Greetings and have a nice day!

    very cool work. I would really like to know how you managed to make the lid, that part was left out. yours turned out beautifully where as mine did not so I have to go a different route. knowing how you managed to figure out the amount of bevel on the boards would definitely be a huge help in future projects I'd like to make. much thanks .

      @craftlingsworkshop  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! I made the sidepanels first and than i tried a little bit with the angle of the strips. It worked quite well. I didn`t calculate anything, but perhaps that would be the better way 😉

      He shows how he made the lid, he didn't go into details as to how he figured out the angles and such but like he said in his response to you that he didn't calculate any of it, he just guessed at it until he got it right.
