The second half of the video is my personal arrangement of "Apple Seed" (Reiner & Bertolt's Transformation OST) but very sad and emotional mixed with Season 4 Reiner Theme.

I’m just mad they skipped the part at the wall and to the wall they skipped so much like When Annie got tired after overusing the Female Titan to get to the wall and Reiner climbing the wall and Bertolt saying “So this is Wall Maria?” And the sadness it took for the warriors to break the walls after losing their leader it’s a sad day for Reiner and that they were 12 doing this and we could see a little of Eren Armin and Mikasa at the Same shelter right before Eren inherited his attack Titan power in the same roof as the Armored Female and Colossal Titan they just skipped so much from the Manga

@@friend1704 The quote is from 2×6 of the show Reiner said it. Because the warriors were just kids when they got the power of titans, and Marley send them to paradis Island at the age of 12 !! Imagine!. They were just victims of war and manipulation, so you can't really blame them for what they did back in season 1 because they had their own reasons and they're not the real enemy. That's why Reiner is mentally disordered and conflicted because his whole life was tragedy ( he lost his all friends) and basically a lie. Hope you get it.

When yóu realise who the actual protagonist is....
Reiner ruined Eren's life and was then motivating him by spouting lies. He spend his early life believing in lies too, like his dad might return, like he was capable of Armored titan. Simliarly Eren's hatred for titans was him living a lie too.
Reiner saw himself in Eren and couldnot bear the fact that he put Eren into this cycle of lies and betrayal. So this along with many other reasons was why he put the gun in his mouth.

Reiner has one of the best character backstory Ive ever seen. You think he’s the bad guy but you just have to understand.
I think generally one of the goals of aot is to make you question who is the bad guy. We haven't seen anyone who is inherently a bad person. Everyone is a product of their environments

What about the king when ymir still lived? He was a total asshole for me xD Imagine making someone your slave because she let some fricking Pigs out. If i'm right he tried to kill her but she got the titan powers so she was still alive and THEN he literally used her Powers..
I never thought of him as a bad guy. I mean the dude had a split personality back then ( idk about now ) He cried for Marco's death although he killed him basically and he wasn't faking those tears. He actually bore the consequences of his deeds and, at the same time, he couldn't even look Eren in the eye when he transformed. He is genuinely a good guy but has been tainted by Marley's ideals

Episode 3 was tear jerking. Finally got to see what REALLY went down behind the scenes in the first episode of AOT. I genuinely feel bad for the warriors :(

We all do. Bertolt wasn't much of a talker but he was quite relatable and his timid personality worked quite well with Reiner's more confident outlook. It actually feels kinda strange seeing Reiner without Bertolt now and makes me sad for both.

I loved the little bit where we hear the Marleyan officers talk about the titan shifters in this cold official way analysing their abilities and who to give each titan too
Those things were legendary devils, and monsters to the people of Paradis, heroes and tickets to freedom for the people of Liberio
But to Marley they were mere "units" nothing more than weaponry
Reiner is my favorite character!! His story is so complex and my heart breaks for him. I hope he finds peace someday. 😔

Guys that hated Reiner, no matter how bad he was for the Armoured titan, but he kept moving forward into hell, for what ever reasons he had, Like Eren, kept moving forward.
Keep in mind, Reiner wasn't a great warrior but he ranked 2nd in Soldier training.

I really wanted a sad version of appleseed like this to play during Eren and Reiner’s conversation. The betrayal that Eren felt is finally forgiven as he realizes they were both just unlucky souls caught in a conflict bigger than either of them. The part you have after would have been great for when he transforms as Willy Tybur declares war.

I like how things are going. They are showing the enemy point of view. And it is sad. This remind me of last of us part 2. Same method. I can totally understand their view. Seen their enemy "eren groupe" as pure evil. Because we dont have all the facts and the military lies to us all the time. This season really changes your minds. If i were in their show shoes "Reiner's groupe" i would probably would have done the same. Since i would only believe what media and military tell us about the ppl in the island. Awesome season so far. Probably missing a lot of good stuff in the manga.
Actually this anime rarely cuts things from the manga, and what they do is usually just shorted for convenience. The writer once said he views the anime as his final product with the manga being his "first draft" by comparison so whatever changes occur is usually became the writer himself wasn't satisfied with it's manga outcome.

Your arrangement of appleseed is simply amazing. It starts off with a peaceful melody and slowly transforms into horrorful chaos with the ashes on the fire theme.
It's like a leaf that's falls from it's branch and is then blown away by the wind first over green fields, then over a giant city with a gorgeous sunset in the background, then the wind gets stronger it's pushed around, thick rain starts pouring, a storm builds, lighting strikes and on the ground you see a war raging, fires, screams and dead people all over the place.
Reiner and Eren are the best depressive characters ever
