I’m a victim of #3. A lot of these beautiful Thai women will attach themselves to you so soon and be the sweetest girl ever. That’s what happened with me and my ex. After a few weeks she became a nightmare to live with, always emotional ups and downs.
Thai women are prone to mood swings. Their behavior is always hormonal and irrational. Thai women tend to be very immature too. Often sleep with stuffed animals and hello kitty bedsheets even if they are 40 plus.

As a Thai I can confirm 100% what this guy said is true. Thai society is a little different from the west. You will probably not meet a normal nice Thai girl in a bar. I am not saying every girl in a bar are scammers and hookers. Most decent Thai Girl will not hang out in the bars. If you really like clubbing and partying, you have to choose which club to go to. You need to visit those hi-so club in curtain area in BKK (like sukumvit, nana, or thong lor)where most girls are from University or upper working middle class girls. well but then comes another problem because those are not easy kind of girl you can take home.

I almost fell for Pitall #3. Met a Thai girl that that I thought was in to me, kept texting and video calling me when I was back home. She ended up going to Pattaya and hooked up with older guys for some cash and acted like it was nothing. Immediately block and deleted her after that. Luckily I was smart enough to use protection and not send her any money.

As another young dude living in Thailand one more pitfall I’ve experienced is slightly older women who aren’t bar/party girls, just working normal jobs but they seem overly interested and eager to jump in bed with you, they’re likely childless and looking to get pregnant so watch out for that as well. 👍

The hard work starts after you have found the perfect gf. The hunt to find her is the easy part. Adapting to and respecting her culture, religion and way of life may be a challenge. I have been (happily) married to a thai woman for 16 years now. If you decide to marry her you should know that the culture differences could be huge and you end up living almost separate lifes due to different interests. I like hiking in the mountains, my wife; not so much. I like swimming in the ocean; thais seldom do. Asian women likes to take 100 selfies a day, I never do. Thai people eat thai food. All the time. Westerners eat food from all over the world. Thai girls are often very jealous. I may be generalizing a little here but these are things you shuld be aware of before popping the question. Great video. I got a terrific Thai girlfriend. It's not that hard. But sharpen up your cold approaches and go after the regular women with regular jobs. Yes, you will get shot down. But much less than in the west. Most Thai women are very approachable. Your success rate will be an order of magnitude higher than in the west.

As a Thai woman, I wouldn't be flattered when you comment someone "beautiful" or "handsome". Sexual harassment happens daily at the workplace. So, I'd suggest just to get to know her as a friend first. Then you compliment on her personality.

I lived there for 3 years during the Covid era. I used to get girls from dating apps(every single swipe was a match), from riding the MRT and BTS(trains in Bangkok), in the streets, shopping malls... everywhere basically.
If you're an 8/10 in looks and slightly above average in height, you're treated like a god.
As long as you're under 50, in decent physical shape, atleast 6 feet tall, and white you will be treated like a god.
