I bought one of these last year, was my first ebike and loved it! I changed the bars and stem as I found it to feel a bit "chopper" like! Lol! Also changed the rear shock as the rebound on it was pretty violent. The forks work well but found them to bend slightly when under load going downhill but to be fair I was probably pushing the bike to it's limits off road. The tyres are very thin which can lead to punctures easily, heavy duty inner tubes helped:). It was overall a great bike, a much better buy than the Cyrusher equivalent. Moved on to my full suspension Commencal Meta now, 3240w of madness:). Take it easy dude:)

Stunning looking bike. Any chance of popping the cover off the controller box and checking what the amps are? The buy best gear link lists it at 16Amp, which can't be right. Another site lists it at 20 which still seems low for a bike with that sort of go.
How powerful can an ebike be before it stops looking like a bicycle..., I saw the police crushing sir Ron's type bikes that are electric motorcycles.

Those brakes are good. I've got them on my bike. I've got slightly bigger discs and they really are good for the price. Amazon front and rear set pre bled with floating discs was under £70 and they take standard pads.
I can't make up my mind between this and the 740 dual motor. You seemed to be more excited about this bike.

we don't get many options in the UK compared to the Americans especially affordable but quality stuff so it makes it seem really good.
Hey Steve, I’ve got a bike and I’m trying to convert it into electric soon and I’m learning all about the specs and what they mean and I’m trying to find a kit that will fit my bike and specs as closely as possible, is there a app I can dm you on to get help on what I’m looking for, I mostly don’t want to buy the wrong thing
many factors for ebikes, how comfortable to ride / whats it designed for, weight, how does it feel to ride, how does it feel off road, puncture resistance / ease of puncture repair, how does it accelerate or climb hills, max speed, cost, cost of repair, ease or frequency of maintenance / reliability, modability / upgradability, range / efficiency, legality / ethical concerns / state of mind. These things can take a while to properly evaluate.

1000W motor my 900 only has a 750W
for 1800 it better be damn bloody good lol, but its nice to have it verified how good it rides ,but the proof is in the reliability

Great video mate. Lovely looking bike and looks like it performs well. I've got the Himiway Cruiser, but if this was around last winter, I'd have got this one instead. The Himiway bikes gave a handle on the saddle too. Just the style of this bike looks awesome too...and hydronic brakes with it...I'd have one

Quite small looking motor for a 1000w, like the seat handle nice design touch, always a sucker for a black n yellow colour scheme...
Like the look of the bike with just one personal niggle. I'd like the seat as low as possible like a fat tyre bobber chopper but, I think that would lead to being a bit crunched up in the leg department. I wouldn't run a chain or pedals and simply use the pedels as foot rests.

I have the same bike in blue and black its been amazing ..just kept getting punctures so bought maxxis minnion tires and tannus inserts hope it helps me now..i get people asking where i got it from all the time its a really good looking bike ..they are zoom brakes

I've just took delivery of the rv800 plus and for the life of me I can't unlock the bloody thing. I've followed the button sequence off the website but it either does nothing or goes into cruise control.
Hi, you in the UK? If yes how did you get it to ride legal with all it's speed capacity and throttle design. I'm concerned the police will take it if I buy one? Not sure what the legal requirements are though
@@francisbasseyamana6878 I am in the UK mate ..I just keep the speed down to 15/20mph on the road and pedal all the time ..I don't use the throttle much to be honest..I have upgraded to the Vitilan T7 ebike

Great review on bike. I watch dude stuff.i did convert my normal bike after watching how he done it. which was great into a e bike but how far would you go to get a front hub in. A land-rover mountain bike. As I live in Norfolk.

Are you saying any other brand other than bafang is a risk? I've tested and owned a large number of bikes and found this to definitely not be the case.

Hey just saw ur video on people commenting bad things saying how Andy stuff is more money your so right there is nothing like the service you guys give at andy kirby bikes I send a email and with in less then 12 hours I have a reply you guys go above and beyond for your people I would not recommend going a anywhere elts yes it is a bit more money but your getting so much more then just a kit you get the whole Andy package as i say would not recommend going anywhere elts for an e bike kit you guys are amazing keep it up

I've just had the rv800. Did you manage to unlock yours? I can't get the button sequence to work to get in to the program settings.
Defo related to Cyrusher. The XF900 is very similar. The accessory box has the same contents as Cyrusher.

ooii good one mate. love those compact geared hub motors. I'm pulling 1000w from a little 350w motor on a 48v system (36v stock). it's no joke. I can almost hit 28mph.
Hopefully it doesn't burn out lol. I'm on a 1500w peaking at 2000w on a 52v battery it'll do 35mph on the throttle with ease maybe a little higher on a fully charged battery
Where do you recommend to buy the gear? I wanna hub convert a 10kg carbon framed 26er to do 20-30 mile range and 28mph is plenty 1000w I think

How would they tell the difference? I've had 2 ebikes now and looking for more power but never had a problem with those on the road

@@DudeStuff I was on a tarmac path on the Wirral, signposted as a shared path, quite narrow in places (3ft) then a gate, a huge wide gravel path, and a 'No cycling' sign!!! It's all utter bollocks.

@@simonbcity literally just rid round the back garden. I've pressed some buttons and managed to get the throttle working. It would probably help if I read the manual.

@@simonbcity I've been pissing about with it for ages now. Just will not go into the parameter settings. Just stays in p1 eco mode. Following instructions from the manual to the letter and whenever long press the + and - buttons in just shoots straight into push mode. Extremely frustrating 😑
