    Is it possible for a wildebeest to be healed on its own in the wild?

      Normally in the wild injuries like this one are healed in the digestive track of a hyenas pack

    Plus if he is hurt how hard can it be for a cheetah to catch it?

      These cheetahs are inexperienced cubs. If it was a coalition of adult males then they would've killed it.

    Why would them breaking up be confusing? Just grab the closest one.....

    • @xavierhorn9825
      @xavierhorn9825 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      If the closest one is a healthy adult, it's not likely that they'd succeed. They typically attack sick, weak, young and old prey as it is easier to hunt and bring down

      Cheetahs are sight hunters. They pick a target and stay with it, however, the terrain confused the cheetahs, and although, a bull was injured escaping, these inexperienced cheetahs are not heavy enough to bring down an adult, even an injured one. Cheetahs generally go for their young, because the young aren't strong enough to fight off a cheetah. Gazelle and Springbok are typically cheetahs favorite choices. I have seen cheetahs pass on baby gazelle for the mother. More meat to satisfy her cubs appetites.

      cheetah's aren't heavy enough to bring down an adult anyway, not even an injured one.

    You can tell they we’re young inexperienced hunters, but I don’t think it’s their mothers fault. I think that when she was training them how to hunt they were probably not taking it seriously or not paying attention. Because female cheetahs are great at hunting & let their cubs watch them when their hunting so they can learn.
