Listening to others is key. Lady as a mom you need to learn to listen. Being a mom doesn't mean you do not listen to your children, you can learn something.

People always misconstrue being with the boss with being the tyrant, with knowing it all, with having to make every decision. The best bosses will always tell you, just as the employees for the best bosses will tell you, that the best bosses are good bosses because they hire people who know more than them and because they are willing to delegate and give the right people the right responsibilities.
They could have always turned it into completion. See who can get more customers in. The daughter should promote through social media and have the mum promote through face-to-face, she’ll then realise the importance of social media usage

Working with family is quite hard. Emotions and baggage, that most people cannot put aside, are sabotaging your interactions. If you talk to each other the way you do at home, it can get confusing and can even hurt you when you're constantly switching from being family to being boss - employee.
You need a certain level of intelligence and self awareness to make it work.

Great advice Uncle Steve. If the mom wants to grow her business she has to respecf the knowledge of her daughter who is more IT and social media savy for marketing.
The mom is romantic about business and stuck in the past. Business owners like this drag their business out with them. Steve has it right.

They can equally go use their set of skills to make money for someone else. Enjoy them.
