Supermarine Seafire F.Mk 46

Airfix 1:48 scale, built from the 2012 release of the kit first tooled in 1996.
The airframe represents the Lossiemouth Station Flight LA546, Royal Naval Air Station Lossiemouth 1948.
Brush painted using Revell Aquacolor and Hataka Blue Line paints, Humbrol Decalfix to assist in decal adhesion.
At the time of initial release Airfix were certainly going through a purple patch with the excellent 1:48 EE Lightning being released around the same time. I believe this later release benefits from better quality decals.
Thoroughly recommend this kit to anyone.
