My teacher said on the Monday of the last week of school that her friend was doing a survey on the favourite chocolate bars of kids so we all wrote them down then. On the Friday she gave us rapped presents with our fav chocolate bars a homework pass and a personalized card. It was so nice of her to do that and when i told my mam she nearly cried because it was so nice of her

When you get sharpie on whiteboards and you can't get it off with the expo markers or the expo spray use perfume I did it once and it works great and makes your board smell good

I went to Hobby Lobby and got some of my gifts for my students next year. I got them DIY ornaments that you can put the students picture in for .12 cents per ornament. I got cello bags for .2 cents per bag. Then I’ll just reuse my Christmas bookmarks from TPT this year and add some candy and a pencil. So cheap and easy!!!
Morgan Silva I'm in NE Tennessee. We usually have a lot of snow days because we are way up in the mountains. We still get two weeks for Christmas break and one week in October for fall break. We do, however, Start the first of August so it all evens out.

Waiting for winter break is the worst! In the past we always got out on Wednesday....I almost cried when I realized we had to go until Friday! We are lucky enough to have two weeks off. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Enjoy your time off!

As for gifts, I still remember getting those little gifts from my teacher and I was really grateful and appreciative but with that said I also really loved making ornaments so even if you just did a craft with the kids, they would probably love that just as much and it's something they would probably keep to decorate their tree for years. My favorites were the little pipe cleaner candy cane ornaments.
I also gave dough. You made a cute note to go with it. I passed the dough out to make rectangular prisms, pyramids, cylinders, etc. We counted faces, edges, etc. When done I told students they got to take them home.

I printed and laminated thank you cards this year with a magnet if the kiddos want to hang it up on a fridge. It saved me SO MUCH time!

I use Kahoot all the time. I have a class set of chromebooks. I also send the Kahoot for homework. The kids love it!
