I am genuinely stunned at Destiny's ability to endure all of this character assassination. Technology allows most of us to not worry about where food comes from, where clean water comes from, where products come from, etc. etc. Feels like we're largely a society desperate for meaning, and some people choose to find their meaning in rule enforcement on tech platforms. For all of history we had a need to work for the survival of our community, which mean food water shelter for family, for our tribe. Now we have people who replace that with working for the "survival" of their new-found online community through platform gate-keeping.

People are too content in their bubbles. At the end of the day the reason why I watch Destiny is because I respect him. It's been demonstrated to me, through his behavior that I've witnessed over the years, that he isn't interested in clout or choosing a position just because its popular. If you're going to seek input from a pundit/political commentator you should be seeking one out that actively seeks to minimize their bias. I think Destiny tries his best to do this which is why I *always* respect his opinion enough to listen. He's made me better at engaging in all manner of topics. I don't know if this has been said yet but everybody's issue with Destiny isn't that he is mean, it's that he's mean to the wrong people. I am genuinely stunned at Destiny's ability to endure all of this character assassination. @24:00 This had to be one of the funniest things Destiny has ever done, fighting with his chat. It was sad at the time because a bunch of people died from the hands of Rittenhouse, but looking back on this stream, it was pretty epic. Destiny getting Vaush to say people should submit to the mob was pretty hilarious too.

It’s disturbing and gross to see people who have acted like your friends online to be so happy, and just seemingly excited about your ban. They think they are better than you, and it’s extremely funny to know that a few if not many come from your community or started with your support and help ect… It’s very slimy and they seem jealous, malicious, vindictive, and they don’t behave in accordance with their so called beliefs, and they admit that they are more than willing to lie to their own communities…lying is not acceptable, and I will respect anyone who is willing to tell the truth and show the facts and evidence, even though it may not fit their narrative - especially if it doesn’t fit their narrative!!! But, they have no problem with lying and being dishonest, being disingenuous, toxic, and malicious - and that’s to a former friend and online colleagues…imagine how they are with people they really don’t like!?

"I feel" like it matters something. When someone feels something, it doesn't mean it's the truth. That's not being objective. I don't think Destiny has ever changed what he thinks ... except when someone makes him change his mind, with obvious facts presented in front of him.
the fact that its been a week (I think?) and the debate topics are still his ban speaks a lot of how the debate group on twitch can't support content on their own, and they'll find ways to keep their content going through destiny without getting themselves banned

People are too content in their bubbles. At the end of the day the reason why I watch Destiny is because I respect him. It's been demonstrated to me, through his behavior that I've witnessed over the years, that he isn't interested in clout or choosing a position just because its popular.
If you're going to seek input from a pundit/political commentator you should be seeking one out that actively seeks to minimize their bias.
I think Destiny tries his best to do this which is why I *always* respect his opinion enough to listen. He's made me better at engaging in all manner of topics.

There’s few streamers out there that can make me cringe just by become aware of their presence in a panel like Vivian can.

Like how destiny knows ppl often end up abandoning outcome for their methods, this is merely an instance of people siding with what they prefer over their stated outcome. Viv doesn't like destiny as a person and if she could end global suffering or to hurt ppl she doens't like, no amount of delariative moral statements changes the fact she'll choose the latter every time.
