Being an army significant other and seeing someone who's done it for 19 years, it's really nice :) hoping to give other SOs out there some of that same inspiration as I'm documenting our first deployment with my videos too. Thanks for this Brit!
Nice! I think there is definitely a need in documenting deployments, because there is not much to go off of out there. Will be keeping up with your videos too! (:
I loved this! My boyfriend is in the Army and will be stationed at the same base she was at in Washington. It was just really encouraging to hear the perspective of someone who has been an Army Wife for 19 years!
I'm an active duty Air Force wife! Husband has been in for 1 year now & it's been a great experience so far. I JUST recently moved with him, since we chose to be long distance while I wanted to finish up my 1st year of college at my hometown instead of leaving in the middle of school year...we handled 13 months of distance very great! With the help of FaceTime everyday😂 ~ Love watching your videos! Maybe I could meet up with you one day & have another milso Q&A session too!
i just found your channell and my bf of 4 years enlists soon! & i’ve started binge watching your channel from your first video!! 😁 i love your intro and love the content you are such a beautiful and bright spirit!!! and i haven’t even see any recent videos!
Being married to my husband for 20 years, he was active duty for 13 of those and the rest of those he is been in the Reserves -for a total of 20 years as a military. Was an NCO and then commissioned and it's just now that we are getting ready for his first deployment to a combat zone 😢💔
My bf is leaving for the coast guard in a few months and I finally built up the courage to confront myself and him about it. We are still young and have yet to begin our lives. He told me that he thinks it's best to end it now rather than later because he will be gone for 10 years. I watched some of your videos to see what I might be going into if we still stayed together. I decided that I still want to be with him. He says that he's not ready to move in with me and that marriage and pregnancy isn't an attractive lifestyle for him. It isn't mine either. At least not right now, im still young and still building a career path for myself. At this point I'm unsure whether I should let him go or not. And I think he doesn't want to go through with the commitment.
Thank you ladies so much for this video and beautiful advice. It truly has given me a brighter look and perspective on things. Love your videos keep up the great work! Hope to meet you both one day😘💕
Wow..3 DEPLOYMENTS that's it! 9 years he's been in w/ 2 pcs and 3 deployments which hes leaving soon for deployment...in air force they can send you again after only 12mths
The Navy will pay for every pcs I believe. I love watching your videos! I am also a military spouse to my husband who is serving in the Navy. Any tips on documenting or doing videos on being a spouse of a military service member? Also, this video is very informative! Thanks!
I have a question about pcs'ing. So you have said in the video that the navy only pays for 1 move. Why do u think that? I asked a navy wife friend of mine and she said they will pay whenever you get new orders. I'm so confused. Lol
Hi Desiree, this video is about a year old, and at the time my understanding was, you could only have 1 move ever. I thought this because (this might be confusing, so I'm sorry haha) in the same year, 2015, I would be moving from Texas to San Diego (to live with him, since I was in college) and then we moved from San Diego to Washington (change in duty station). We had decided together that if we wanted the military to pay for us to move to Washington then we wouldn't use our "military move" to pay for me moving from Texas to San Diego. At the time I thought we had to choose our one and only move. However it was because we only have one move per year (so we had to choose) unless the military was moving us both of those times, then they would pay for both. Which I didn't understand haha. Sorry if this was so confusing.😄I'm a regular military wife learning new things every day!

Exciting, you must go see a town called Leavenworth and if you can get your passport to visit Canada which is about 4 hours from JBLM!
My boyfriend is in the Army, and this gave me a whole lot more information on what it's like to be an Army wife and the experience. I appreciate it!
The Army Life has been amazing, our family had been able to experience more than we could have imagined!

MissBunni It's the same in the Army, they can deploy only after 12 months at home.
My hubby is Navy and we had moved 8 times and the Navy payed for every move. I don’t understand why they had only payed for one for you guys.
The Hofer's Journey ya i was gonna say my boyfriend has moved 2 an both times they paid for it
