I ate Cha Bang 4x last June on Mardi Gras and am pleading w my wife to eat their the first night when we go again on January 14!! Hope they keep it complimentary but would pay to eat their if We had to!! Cheers!!!
I've been thinking about trying Jiji's next time I'm on Vista Class ever since eating at Chibang. Good to know the quality is high! The menu reads like its any American Chinese restaurant so I hadn't previously considered paying for it.
I never ordered more than two entrees so I can't say for sure. I assumed it would be $5 for each additional entree. P.S. the surcharge was also added to the menus in the Main Dining Room, in case you hadn't heard.
They don’t take reservations. If you have Your Time Dining for your dinner time, you use the app to request a table when you’re ready for dinner (same as you’d do for the dining room) and head to the restaurant. The same goes for if you have assigned dining, except you’re restricted to requesting a table at the same time as your assigned dining time.
Chibang is still free at lunch however many times (but only open on sea days) and free at dinner once per cruise. If you want to eat dinner there more than once, it's a flat $8 per person each time after the first time. However the roasted duck and steakhouse selections cost extra if you order them.
Well it doesn’t cost money, so that’s not an issue. And I really liked my meal at Chibang. I will be honest that the first time I went, I wasn’t impressed, but I liked the fried fish enough that I went back on a subsequent cruise. I ordered different stuff the second time and liked/loved everything and went back a third time on yet another cruise. So its just a matter of doing a bit of research and ordering what others recommend. Thanks for watching!
@laurenofalltrades We never received our entrees. Waited well over 45 minutes and watched guests that arrived after us consume their desserts. After speaking to the supervisor we were inundated with the "I'm so sorry" diatribes. Our service was poor and our experience was the worst.
We enjoyed ChiBang twice -on our January and August sailings on Mardi Gras. We would definitely return. 👍🏼❤️

Did they have a drink called the scooby dip their?? I had 2 of them on the Mardi Gras at Cha Bang!! Wow!! It was goooood!!

I hope they keep it included. JiJI's on Vista is an extra cost, but worlds away better in quality. It's probably my favorite dining on Carnival ever.
