    This is a great video with valuable information, thanks for posting. I've watched several jubilee videos and couldn't figure these three out. Now I know. They only serve the one item each day and each day that 1 item changes. Neat idea.

    Ok so this video is really helpful. I was on Celebration and I had decided not to eat at Street Eats because I didn’t understand the extremely limited menu…It never dawned on me that it changes everyday 🤯🤯 we are on Jubilee for thanksgiving and now I know exactly how to navigate Street Eats! Great video! Thanks!

      That's great! I do wish they'd put sample menus on their website. The lack of the menus is what inspired me to make this extensive, exhaustive video, so I'm glad the effort wasn't for nothing :) Thanks for watching!

    good video. we have been on the jubilee twice so far, and street eats is one of our go to places each day. we would even cut down on our lunch so we could get it everyday.

    I think Carnival has found a great way to use unprepared food items they had defrosted/readied for the MDR, but users of the MDR are always variable. So if they were ready for 2,000 steaks and only 1,900 people wanted them, they have 100 left that can be used for stir fry, or fajitas. Same with chicken and some other proteins and vegs. I think the potatoes are just an extra easy item for them, and cheap, and are okay for most religions and diets (except no carb folks). This lets Street Eats vary the menu depending on the extra ingredients they have, which reduces food waste, too. But for me, it's all about the cheese, meats, baos and fried stuff.

    Great video. I'll be on Jubilee for the first time in December. I can easily see myself eating lunch here every day.

      Definitely! Keep in mind that they annoyingly don't open until the afternoon on port days.

    we ate at street eats on Mardi Gras in late 2022. Overall, we liked it a lot. The fries place is a bit gimmicky, but still tasty. We don't eat pig, so sometimes we could not partake of what was being served, but we ate some of the rest and to me it held up very well compared to what we can get in ethnic spots in our 'big city'. But as I've previously mentioned, we enjoyed MG but it's sort of a downer that ALL of the best food (street eats, Guy's, Big Chicken, blue Iguana) is not available for dinner (granted the pizza and sandwich places are open, and they're good, but there's so much that they shut down by 6pm).
    If Carnival ever announced anything about keeping these things open later, I'd be more enthused about doing Carnival again. Right now we *would* sail them again, but we have no great allegiance to them. I'm more interested in those new NCL ships that have the food-hall on them.

      I definitely agree. It's hard to try everything when it's only open for lunch. The limited hours for Street Eats on port days is the most frustrating. Indulge Food Hall on NCL is great as I've said in my videos, NCL just got so expensive which is frustrating.

      Thanks! Day 5 (6:02) was the best day with all "Loves." The Bulgogi Beef, which was served that day, is my #1 out of all 21 things.

    It was fun seeing the foods, but I want to offer some friendly criticism. The format of this video was disengaging. I would have prefered to hear your thoughts on each dish, if even just a few words as were trying them. If it's more of a visual journey then some background music would have been preferred to forcing us to hear "thank you, thanks so much, thank you, thank you.." literally 21 times, I am not OCD but that was a bit tiring. Still, upvote and subbed. :)

      Agreed. I gave it a like, but I would've liked a short taste review of each dish for a little more engagement.

      I also thought we would get to see a tasting review of each dish. Just seeing pics of the food didn't really do anything.

    Great video thank you. Is there a food spot aside from the buffet or salad bars that offer a variety of meatless options?

    • @laurenofalltrades
      @laurenofalltrades  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I believe they have veggie burgers upon request at Guy’s Burger Joint. You could make a veggie burrito at Blue Iguana, and/or fish tacos at Blue Iguana if you’re pescatarian. Coastal Slice has two meatless pizzas. Beach Buns (aka The Deli) might have something. The Dining Rooms have a vegan menu now at dinner.

    Where would you have lunch on boarding day?

    • @laurenofalltrades
      @laurenofalltrades  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Personally I would hit up Street Eats (deck16) for a bit of food since it's different every day and then head to Coastal Slice (deck 8) for pizza. "Beach Buns" (aka The Deli) is also on deck 8 next to Coastal Slice if you like sandwiches. That's where you're going to see the shortest lines because everyone is going to be heading to the buffet, Guy's Burger Joint, and Big Chicken.

    This was difficult to watch. It would have been helpful if there was some type of content about taste, what’s worth it, lines etc. This was like walking around looking at people’s plates without the option of asking them if it was good or not. 😂
