    After watching this video I decided it was time to buy a Multitarget for trap. I found them online hovering around $3000 then I found a NIB gun on Gunbroker no reserve, penny auction that had lost steam and I won it for $1686 and with shipping it ended up being $1778.39. I'm still in shock. Finally my chickens have come home to roost!!! Thank you TFL!

      I heard the FFLs just use a separate account to outbid you if an auction loses steam.

    I've shot the Beretta A-400 Xcel MT for about one year. I really like it. I also shoot a Browning BT-99 + and a Browning Citori Trap model (O/U). I shoot mostly American Trap but engage in Sporting clays occasionally. Initially, I didn't care for the mechanical feel of the Kick-Off butt system but have become used to it. I agree that the Kick-off system could be better in terms of adjustability. I like it and would recommend it to those wanting a good semi-auto shotgun.

    I have this exact same gun. It's a great gun, but obnoxiously expensive for what it is. The kickoff is totally unecessary for this gun, it makes it feel like you're shooting a pogo stick. I got mine without it - it is a much better gun without the kickoff. One problem many people have with this gun is it ejects the shells directly into the person to your right. A ziptie through the ramp at the back of the rib helps deflect the shells down. I also have an a300 ultima and it performs just as well as the multitarget, and I think it's a much better value for money. If you want adjustable comb and rib and buttpad, i'd go for the Tristar TT-15 Trap - which I also have. The multitarget just doesn't justify its price tag. It needs to be about $1000 cheaper.

      The wood makes the mt expensive its the only a400 that has real wood not the enhanced wood. But I love my MT ive had it a few years now. Someone mentioned the shells hitting the person too your right they make a shell catcher that works great if your shooting trap. And coles piston spring helps with far ejection

      Here in Canada they went from $3700 last year then dealers went out of stock and when they received new inventory they went up to $4500. As much as I like to try one I refuse to pay that especially when the 2022 A400 Xcel sporting (grey receiver) retails for $2800 CDN

      On my Extreme Plus I feel like the kickoff doesn’t do anything at all; no noticeable difference to any other gas gun, not even the softest shooting gas gun I have shot.

    Had mine for over a year, 28" not kick off UK. Love it to pieces. A tip to share for owners, check the tightness of all the rib small allen bolts and the silver mid bead. They can work lose and you lose them. Ask me how I know... Careful if you need to order the mid bead, two sizes, order the right one! Don't like the clang post shot, but everything else is perfection.

    Thank you for another great video Steve! I love the A400 shotguns myself! I own 4 of them in different configurations. Xtreme & Xcel Blue reciever in 12 gauge and the Xplor in 20 & 28 gauge! Both of my 12 gauge’s have the Kickoff System but my other 2 do not! I think the Kickoff system is amazing once you get use to it! Beretta makes amazing firearms! If you ever get they chance to go to one of the Beretta Galleries please do and that might be a great idea for an upcoming video 🤔! I’ve been to the Beretta Galleries in New York and it was awesome! Keep up the great content Steve!

    Great video Steve, love my Beretta A400 MT. It is a great gun, mine has a steel ring after every shot, amd the kick-off does take time to get used to it. I mostly shoot a Browning 725 trap max, and a Beretta DT10. But the MT does has it’s place in sporting, and maybe double trap.

    I have the A400 Upland in 20 gauge. I just bought it a few weeks ago. Looking forward to taking it out. I assume it comes apart like the extreme. Have you ever done any videos on the Browning Superposed? I have a 1953 Grade 1 in mint condition. I am kind of hesitant on taking it out to the range to shoot skeet. I am planning on buying a Beretta O/U or a Browning Citori , not sure yet. Love your videos !!!!

    I’m looking for single semi-auto 12g to do everything with. What’s the best all around in the market? Lowest recoil is important to me. I was considering the Beretta A400 Xtreme plus. Thanks.

    Cole's gunsmithing will rework the trigger. Had mine done. I also added a deflector so spent shells won't hit the guy next to me

    shot the mt asa it was available and i love it, it crushes everything.
    hard to clean the gas parts. if you can pick up any gun and break stuff, then this is a hammer. lots of adjustments here, so you can also blame it for your misses.

    I bought one. Tried it for a year. Hated it. Had to replace all the screws as Beretta far too soft and sheared. My friends did exactly the same! Sold it and went back to my 50 year old Remington 1100.

    how tall are are? im 5'8" and im concerned about LOP with the KO stock. Does the regular stock have shorter LOP?

    • @martynf65uk
      @martynf65uk 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm 5'9" my MT is NOT a kick off. it fits great. My NON KO looks to have a little bit longer wood than the KO which makes sense. But the but pad is much much smaller than the KO so overall I think the NOT KO stock is shorter. You can buy spacers and different thickness butt pads so it shouldn't be a concern for you. How does this compare/differ from the 1301 Comp Pro for uses?

    • @Jimmykid3
      @Jimmykid3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is geared towards clay games where a 1301 is a tactical shotgun id say geared toward 3 gun style stuff maybe? 1301 is a 21" barrel vs the mt has a 30 or 32" barrel

      It's perfectly safe, and youngsters should watch this video carefully as this guy is wonderful with safety habits, etc. Every exhibition shooter in the world, sponsored by large companies with teams of lawyers, does it. If you want to ban things because you don't like it, perhaps go live in England.
