Hey there! Have to say I was completely uninterested in New Capenna until I saw Xander. Now I want to have Grixis mill as my first original deck with this absolute beast at the helm! Post watch edit: I had no idea we could use cards like port razer to trigger Xander's attack multiple times! Great recommendations, and I will make sure to put some of these cards in my deck!
Thanks! Glad the video was useful for you! While brewing the deck I wanted to try and make the absolute most out of all of Xander's triggered abilities, even though the best one to build around is definitely his mill one.
@@TheCommanderTavern You Will only be attaking with 3 pirates. The original attaking one opponent, the other two opponents with the two copies. There are four players... So... 3 opponents... So two copies only. Is that correct?
@@EMILIOONTIVEROS Yes, I meant that the "extra" one is the original. When I said copies I meant total. You get net one per opponent and then 2 token copies disappear.
Lol, I remember brainstorming about him in your discord server. Do you have any plans to cover Ziatora, the Incinerator soon? I feel like that could be a pretty interesting Jund value build.
Yup! Glad the Discord server has been helpful :P I'm currently on vacation, so I made these three videos in advance to released them on an automated schedule (Jetmir, now Xander, and then the next one) so as to have enough time to brew and test the contents of my next videos. Ziatora is definitely an interesting creature even though BRG sacrifice in the command zone is nothing new or fresh. But it is definitely a strong card so I might brew something around it. No promises, though!
Thanks! Glad you liked it! I've been making videos since before moxfield existed. With over 180 deck tech videos, it's going to take quite a while to transfer them over from tappedout to moxfield, to say the least.
Undying evil and duskmantle guildmage are great in this build. Nice vid!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!

A lot of those are really good! Unfortunately you can only put so many cards in a 100-card deck 😩
@@TheCommanderTavern That's true you also mentioned cards where I was like "Oh I haven't thought about that but what should I cut for it"

Thank you sir!
You're welcome!
I don't get why opponents might be afraid of Xander. He just wants half!
I know, right?! 🤪
Myriad only makes 2 tokens in a 4 player game? It doesn't generate one for the defending player?
Did I say 3 copies? Must've been a slip o'th' tongue. Myriad makes a copy for each opponent other than the defending player.
Doesn't he also trigger attack since the copy is tapped and attacking
No because it's not declared as an attacker, so the window for the trigger closed before.
Does myriad create 3 copies? I think it should create only. One for each non attacked opponent
It does. The 4th I mention is the original. Apologies for the confusion.

Love the deck but have you considered using moxfield instead of tappedout?
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
