For hand tools, I was always a Channellock or Caftsman guy working as a machinist. I later changed careers and started working in maintenance at one place. Everyone raved over this brand. I tried one of my coworkers Knipex pliers and was sold. The amount of torque you can achieve is amazing.

Sometimes you see a new tool and a light bulb goes off. You get it before you own a set. I saw these about two weeks ago and I just knew.
Not available in Europe yet either, still waiting but I will get a set as soon as they come out.
Knipex also have a new snap off knife being released, as usual with Knipex, it is cleverer and better than the rest, worth a look.
Clay says it's pronounced Knipex, and then says nipex twice when reviewing the pliers😄

Looks like they took the idea from the vampliers and made some extra torque and adjustability. I will own a set of these for sure.
I want them..I also want the gators.. there made a lil different then the cobra. I also want the One made for hose clamps.I l Left my big cobra's on the front bumper of a jeep after doing a radiator. Hit the freeway with test drive..and haven't seen em since. So I got the 3 piece set to replace it . And I love em.
I wish I had gotten cobras first but I still love my gators over normal water pump pliers

I only use Knipex pliers because they are so superior. Except when it came to slip-joint pliers I use my trusty vintage Snap-On 47s. I guess it is over for them too.
I got a 15 year old pair of knipex cobras they are still the pair of pliers I grab ! The only problem is the grip is wore thin a lil , but they still whoop the pants off any other brands pliers
You can redip the handles. They sell it in a can

As a technician that pays a great deal of each paycheck to tool reps or tool buys I buy whatever appears to be the best bang for the buck! Sometimes it might be that Snap-on makes the best, sometimes Mac, Matco, Proto, Knipex, Engineer, I don't care the brand just want to spend money the best I can to make my money go as far as I can. The better my tool selection the less I'm going to the shop's box and hunting something, wasting time that can be spent making more money!

At work ive got a pair of the angled diagonal cutters for removing nails and screws out of tires, with the angle in them makes getting stuff out a breeze but Ive got these ordered from kc tool cant wait to try them out

I order mine from my MAC dealer Tuesday. He didn’t even know about them yet.
They won’t be out until end of July and Mac won’t have them for a while after that since they have to pop their logo on them (which takes time) and also adds cost to it. This is like the Vampliers or Engineer, I have a pair of the Engineer branded ones and they are awesome. I'll probably end up grabbing these as well.

Not the same these are slip joint if you look through the comments I’ve talked the differences and these open up wider and allow gripping from the side on bolts

Just so you know Vampire didnt “come out with that design” they copied Engineer Pliers out of Japan but Snap On actually had that design back in the 70’s / 80’s first.

The real question is if you own a pair of vampliers already should you spend extra money to get these also or is it good enough just to have the vampliers if you already own them
They are different than vampliers. These are slip jaw and open up wider plus you can grab nuts, bolts, etc from the side

Completely different design. The way these teeth are designed it is to remove stripped screws.

Odd, not saying it's better or anything like that but I have an old pair no name pliers that basically has the same teeth design with the groove in the middle and all that. A bit smaller and I use them whenever I need a pair of pliers. No, I never use pliers for bolts and such as you showed.
Plan on picking up at least 2 of them 😂
