Being enlightened doesn't mean your looks like Tom cruise..whoever is enlightened knows that this body is nothing but flesh .being enlightened means your have not any desire ..if you gonna care your body with fash wash, creame etc means you are still not fully aware that this is also a desire to looks perfect... enlightened people eat healthy, live healthy but don't focus on anything but a process.they don't fear of death as they already know death is ultimate truth...bosy is meterial things .. enlightened means your are meterialistic anymore but a divine soul of God who is gonna help god to preserve the universe.

Hi James and Justin, I cannot describe how happy I am right now, seeing you people questioning things and trying to understand things. It is the basis of the Sanatana philosophy.
Yes, I agree it's the hardest thing to get rid of our ego and desires even after understanding it is the main reason of our suffering.
It is the main question as well that is asked in the Vedas, Puranas and Upanishads again and again how can one get free from their ego, attachments, desires, etc?
There has been answers given as well. "Raj-Yoga" is one of them. Yoga that is known today to whole world is just one part of the 8 parts of this Raj Yoga. If done properly the eighth part is where a Yogi realizes the final truth mentioned in the video. It is basically a science which deals with energy flow and the consciousness within our body to get a grasp on the mind and sense from where ego, desires and everything arises.
Devotion also known as "Bhakti Yoga" is another where a devotee completely surrenders his time, body, mind and thoughts to the thought of God which in return does the same - getting grasp over the mind and sense. One thing to note here is that in this way of devotion it becomes easy for a devotee when there is some form of a God.
Another one is "Karma-yoga" which basically refers to doing whatever work that you do in your life with a sense of detachment from it's result.
Another one is "Gyana-Yoga" which basically means getting the actual knowledge by detaching completely with the external world and using the mind to explore with reason and logic of the inner workings of mind itself (I may be wrong about this one).
It Bhagavad Geeta, it is mentioned that the easiest of all is the Bhakti-Yoga, the way of devotion.
It is also mentioned in the scriptures that there are many ways to realize the oneness with God. It's up to us what we choose what we follow. And nothing is compulsory or mandatory. It's up to us only whether we choose to realize the truth, whether we want to follow one path or another or something else altogether.
I also recommend checkout Adi Shankaracharya video like Rudraiya has mentioned in the comment.

hi james and justin in indian society and culture the path to attain divinity goes through killing your ego the moment you think i should adorn myself and be presentable a feeling of me arises and that ego, attachment to me and myself is hardest to overcome path of attainment , here in india if you get a chance to visit kumbh mela you will see ascetics all naked in thousands of number coming for holy bath they don t give a damn about physical appearance because worlds perception doesn t bother them they focus on inner character and relation with god the ones those who have attained divinity if you praise or abuse everything is same for them

Once Bhagwan Ramana Maharisi underwent a surgery without anesthesia where detached his mind from the body. There are many such true stories about Ramana Maharishi👃

Osho and Sadhguru are not true enlightened beings. They are/were businessmen.

I think they definitely had and have business like characteristics for sure. Weather enlightened, I'm unsure.

hello there, people dont understand that enlightenement is just a stepping stone in the greater time. where you can do many things. osho was only enlightened, but much sadhguru is way more ahead. there is more things after enlightenment.@@stayspiritual
