Cape Wagtail - a bird with a windscreen fascination

This little one does this often and keeps us company when we are in the garden. I think sometimes seeds are caught in the gap between the body and the windscreen where the bird can feed from

Yeh, the seed theory was my first guess. Or maybe very small insect?

So if you look carefully you will see a pink insect type graphic on the seat cover, we think that is the draw for the bird
