Hi Mike. Nice update on keeping things neat and cleared around the property. Good to get the kids involved. Helps you out and gives them some direction. Too many young people today don't have any good direction.
I have mainly rigid battery tools. They finally came out with a chainsaw combi weed trimmer and real blower so me being me I had to have them. I was skeptical to be honest but man I use the crap out of them. I seem to grab the battery powered before the gas because of ease an quieter. Your daughter is growing and the pup 🐶 was cute as a blueberry 🫐. Thanks captain 👨✈️ and crew.
I'm doing a lot of cleanup around my ranch as well. I finally bought my sawmill and I've been collecting some logs from a clearing job going on next door. I've got 24 logs so far and there's a whole lot more on the ground ready for picking. Now I just need the ground to dry up so I can get more. My problem is poison ivy and wild grape vines. I cut them every chance I get, but there are 10s of thousands of them and just me to fight the good fight. Oh well, that's a battle I'm willing to fight.
I’m glad you are keeping up and have the safety mindset. I went to a regional wildland fire symposium and they said that eastern US fires are burning hotter and we have seen more trees involved than any time in recent history. One of the presenters said we have more invasives (honeysuckle, cedar, and wild roses) that are providing a “ladder” from the common low ground “duff” fires we normally have and into the tree canopy. He said we may be in serious trouble if we get a drought like 1988. We have so much more deadfall in the Ohio Valley due to the emerald ash borer and the dry hurricane Ike years ago. My department has started to educate people on making their properties more wild fire defensible.
Sorry to hear Lilly hurt herself. Please let The Admiral know we need some videos on the raised beds plantings. Congratulations on your new fur grand baby Blueberry. 🐶
Ah....the Jr Kleeman Khronikles continue. Good to see some of the other happenings on the Kleeman Kountry Estates. It's good to get your young folks helping out around the place. As always, great channel....great content.
I've had that pole saw attachment for about 6 years now. I bought it refurbished for 69 dollars. Worth every penny. I'm not as fond of the powerhead though, but it works well. I do have a gas powerhead for when I'm doing a lot of crap around the yard - takes the same attachments. The old saying of one is none and two is one is my preference. Mike the best thing I've found to deal with briers is a hedge trimmer attachment. The nice thing is you can use the same extension for it. Good video!
@@Kleeman1 No problem. I've been fighting them for decades. The nice thing about the hedge trimmer attachment is that it doesn't fling the briers around unlike the chainsaw.
Mike, like seeing family getting involved in the cleanup of the property.must be the weekend.great video, place is taking shape.keep doing what your doing.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Cap’n, it seems to me that you may have a budding Roller Derby Superstar in your midst! It could be… that wrist injury is just a rite of passage to bigger and better fame and fortune. You should be proud!!! See you on the next voyage bud.
"Forward's gonna be the other direction there!" 🤗 It happens to the best of us. 😁 THe stuff around here we call greenbriar, has thorns about every half inch on the vines. Nasty stuff to deal with, and ya sure don't want to try and walk thru it.
Hmm, tooth height and rakers looked good on this. Didn't have any issue. Oregon is definitely good chain as well. But I don't think it's the exact same quality it used to be.
@@Kleeman1 Its been a while, so that is possible. If what you are using works well for a good price, I'd stick with it. I didn't mind sharpening chains, but it's lost time. We would put all chain off the roll to the grinder to take the rakers down a bit since we preferred a more aggressive cut. We would always replace the bar with something about 2 inches shorter than the stock bar to reduce weight and gain more power.
I recently bought the Ryobi in a 14 inch bar. It's great for everyday use. No carbs to rebuild every year no pull starts I pull the trigger and go. It might not be my goto for a full day of cutting logs for firewood but I have big saws for that. Electric weed eaters are the only way to go for me as well. I got a 56 volt Ego from Lowes. Will cut anything my last 10 gas ones would have. If they ran right.
Batteries still going strong? You can tell the manufacture date by the serial #, like EU20954D.... is 2020. You should be close to 5 years on some of those, so its good to see them Kleenan proof. Lol
Always a plus to see the Kleeman family working together to keep the property maintained!
Your videographer did a great job catching the action!
Love the video, Mike .... like Father like daughter lol she will give Crash a run for his money 😂😂
I think it's lovely to see a daughter who's driving skills come from her dad. 🤣
🤣🤣
That is from the "mirrors optional" driving skoollll!!!! 😅😅😅
What about the whoa choppy for the briars??
All Right Bonus Video! Thanks Mike!!! Hope y'all have a great day.
Thanks!

It's a tough battle for sure. They seem to grow faster than can be cut

I can definitely see that happening. It used to not be able to get to the canopy, but it has a shot now.

This is great! All Kleeman all the time,
Thanks Capt. always brings a smile to my face when I see a video on either channel. Have a good one.
Thanks, you too!
great video Mike, keep up the hard work 👍👍👍👍👍
I've been using battery Ryobi tools for medium light DIY and I'm very pleased with my buys, quality tools at good value.
I agree
Good to see another Kleeman, thought you had stopped doing them
My dad has a electric pole saw. Sorta amazed me what can be done. Teaching work ethic to your kids is priceless.
It's definitely a handy tool
Thanks for sharing your adventures and videos. Wishing you and your family the best.
Thanks!
Cleaning up nicely Mike, and yes have your wife drive the SxS really helps a lot👍👍🍮🍮❤️
Thanks Mike, y’all take care my friend.🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙋🏼✌🏻
You too!
Stuff getting done one thing at a time. Good job!
💪
Mike, that 'Green Brier' looks like it might be the original Wild Rose that most domestic Roses have been Bread or Hybridized from.

Lol oh I hope not! Surely there are safer hobbies

We bought Oregon chain by the roll and had good luck with it. We tried a cheaper brand but it didn't last as well and tooth height was inconsistent.

Hi day to day clearances working, showing your not just a super star 🤣 all the best👍🐝😊
what your calling green briar is Multiflora rose (Rosa multiflora). We have it in NC also. Nasty stuff!!
It's taking over here. Crazy how fast it grows
Always something interesting, thanks. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌
It always looks better with a little clean up. Hope the broken wrist is all good for summer. Stay safe
Thanks!
Great to see a video from you today. Have a great day.
Good info here. Thanks. 👍
Great video. Enjoyed watching it.
Thanks!

They are definitely handy
Hmmm battery power I bet you got those for a steal!!
I love this channel.
Thanks!
Wholesome clip, keep this up.
💪
Love this channel also!
I like th battery power chainsaws for light duty cutting. I used one to take out a big tree. I don't recommend that, but they can do it.
I agree
She thinks she is just “earning money” but she is making memories.
Yup!
Good review 👍
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree when it comes to driving equipment.
With luck perhaps someday you will be able to get a skid steer style mulcher for use on the backhoe
Forward is going to be the other direction there lol
A mulching blade for removing the weedy growth may be handy.
hit those vines with the Whoppah Choppah! lol
Might get hung up! Lol
Good morning
Howdy Captain
Like Father...like Daughter 😂❤
🤣🤣 no doubt
Wild Rose is the thorny bush
Could you borrow some goats to help with the cleaning up of the briars or are they too destructive ?
Multiflora Rose, is what we call it.
👍👍
Would you selectively use a herbicide on those vines, it would get into the roots. If you cut it down does it reshoot. Is it the same as blackberry.
It reshoots. I need to start hitting the root once it's cut
👌👍
Bubba Dump’s new operator???
Bramble is thorny weeds
Buy a saw blade that fits the weedeater. It will blast through the briars and it’s cheap.
I'll try it
you may won't to get with DP and see if you can use his big mower and clean up the undergroth
Hi Captain :)
👌👍🙂
Be nice to get a mulcher on a skidster to go through those bryer bushes.
You aren't wrong. Would save a lot of time. Needs to be a drum mulcher for sure though
Try renting a herd of goats once or twice a season. Help keep the undergrowth down. Pain free!
We hope to get our own some day. That would be a huge help

Are you truly even a real Father if you haven't told a child......The other forward or your other left....???
It's one of the many high lights
first here i hope everyone has a great day
🦾👍
