    A short video shot entirely handheld using the Canon ESO R6 paired with the Tamron SP 24-70 F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 lens. This was edited in DaVinci Resolve, and is straight out of camera. I have not applied any color correction or grading or sharpening at all! This is straight out of camera, and honestly blew my mind!

    I finally bought the Tamron to pair with my Canon R6. It's a perfect match for a mirrorless camera. No adjustments needed. Your gorgeous video validates my choice. Your video shows the potential of the Tamron lens. It's amazing.

    Hello Paul. I send greetings to you from Turkey.
    I have a question. You said you're currently using a Tamron 24-70 G2 with an R6 M2. How does Lens and Sensor anti-vibration work in this combination? How does the Auto Focus system work? Are you satisfied? Did you have any trouble with this?

  • @firpofutbol

    I currently have the 6D mark 2 and, to be honest, I am not satisfied with the quality. I want to buy the R6. I also have the Tamron 24-70 2.8 G2. Do you think that doesn't cause any problems with EF objective on weddings when it comes to focus?

      I used to have a 6D II as well! I have has zero issues with the Tamron 24-27 G2 on my R6! Focus is quick and smooth, and I've never had it miss! R6 + Tamron 24-70 G2 is a deadly awesome combo for sure! I think you'll be quite happy with it!
      I'm happy to meet someone from outside my country! Greetings from the USA! :)

    Would you say it’s harder for you to find lenses that are good and cost efficient with the R6?
    I’m in between Sony and Canon simply because Sony has third party lenses

    • @PaulStrople
      @PaulStrople  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Canon is finally starting to open their RF lens mount to third party. But if you get a Canon EF to RF adapter (which work wonderfully by the way)… your lens options from any manufacturer are pretty much endless… and cost-effective.

    Hi can someone help me? I own this tamron 27-70 G2 with a Canon R6 Mark ii. I use the Ef-R-Controll-Ring-Adapter. I noticed, when I turn my aperture from e.g. F10 back to F2.8 (AV- and TV-Mode) the Aperture goes only very slowly down - step by step to F2.8. What can i do??

    How is the dust sealing on this particular Tamron F2.8 24-70mm G2 lens? I've heard photographers having a nightmare with Tamron and Sigma's current 24-70 due to dust getting sucked in to the lens due to poor sealing on the extending lens barrel. To your knowledge, does the this lens have a filter between the extending barrel and the main barrel to prevent dust from getting sucked into the lens? Or in your extensive use of the lens, have you detected any issues with dust [long term use]?

    • @PaulStrople

      They're all fantastic cameras, but If you're doing photography specifically, I'd go with either the 5D IV or the R6 (5D IV has higher resolution, R6 has much better low light.) A7iii is great, but battery life can be somewhat limiting.

    Shutter speed should be 1/50

    • @PaulStrople
      @PaulStrople  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's true, if you're shooting at 24 fps. If you're shooting at 60 fps like I was for this video, your shutter would be 1/120. Your shutter speed is always double your frame-rate.

    • @goldenstasgs
      @goldenstasgs 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I know this. You should learn what is standard iso 800 as constant and 1/50 shutter speed and why you have to avoid another setting to get cinematic video.

    • @PaulStrople
      @PaulStrople  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Tell me then... why do films like Zack Snyder's '300' (which used a frame rate of 120 for the slow motion sequences, and therefore a mandatory shutter of 1/240) still look so cinematic... if they didn't use the 1/50 shutter and ISO 800?
      Cinematic video is about much, much more than your shutter, or your ISO setting.
