I'll show you how to create the dodging and burning layer.
This the simplest ways to create Dimension to the image by dodging and burning and Adding Shine and a glamorous glow to your Portraits in Photoshop!
I'll show you how to make your flat portraits have more depth and form, just by utilizing the Curves, Blend-If and Masking in photoshop.

HI. Thank you for amazing tutorial again! I have a question. From what I understand.. "Dodge " is for pop up effect and "Burn" is shading effect. What I am curious is why the naming is Dodge & Burn. The effect and the definition of these have gap... Could you explain for this?

I'll purchase straight up this week after I get the laptop.. Is going for a laptop with IPS screen very important? Or I could just pass with one with a core i5 or i7 with fast SSD drive amongst other better specifications?

Once you select the bush make sure you set the Opacity and Flow of the brush to 100% and your foreground color should be set to white. See from 4:13
