I have a doubt because when I use my flash Godox 300 outside photoshoot, when I put shutter on my camera, Sony a74 or a73 shutter speeds oner 1/250 then flash is working but not risolt came on photos. But 1/250 or below it will work. I am very struggling with that . If anyone knows how to fix this, please explain for me

Question. Why use a shutter speed 1/1600? because that is crazy fast for only a portrait shot.
Hello Eskay! Using a fast shutter speed like 1/1600 allowed me to achieve a shallow depth of field and also get the proper exposure, especially when shooting outdoors. I explain this in more detail in this video: th-cam.com/users/shortsxNLAJRExZOk
Why is the softbox always so far from the model? This makes the light harder.

Excuse me Sir, please explain to me why you are reducing your shutter speed instead of increasing it
Hey Artkids! I did the opposite in this video, I started at high shutter speed and the flash power output wasn't bright enough even at full power to compensate it, I could have increased the ISO but I just love shooting at ISO 200 or below especially when I'm shooting outside. That why I was reducing the shutter speed value.
The shutter speed was reduced to receive more light for the camera to compensate with the ambient light( surrounding light). Sometimes you can increase the ISO too, but the lower the ISO the better or cleaner your image.
