Hey man, have you ever bypassed a speed sensor? I busted the magnet and damaged the prong on the sensor on one of these Chinese carts when changing out the brushes and now can’t find the replacement parts. I’ve tested everything else on the cart (thanks to the help of your other videos) and I’m pretty much convinced that this speed sensor is why my cart won’t move.
@@HeyHeyHey97 right now I'm dealing with a stuck spline on a Club Car shunt motor. F1-F2 shows open so I've got to repair the field wiring. Just dawned on me that the stuck spline and armature can stay in the cart, I just need to get to the outer casing, brushes and field wiring. The cart was in non-running condition and I did a 12V jumper test on motor and it ran but not with controller in the mix. Have you ever seen or repaired an open field wiring? I'm hoping once I get in there it will be pretty aparent and straight forward.

im trying to figure out what the speed sensor wires mean.. Is red power, black ground and white signal?
Yes that’s correct
The splines on the inside of the motor shaft have spun and stripped themselves. Can this be replaced or do I need a new motor?
@@jaradtai6770 yes you can buy them. They’re called motor collars. But there’s different types. Make sure you count teeth. Plus the type of motor.

You can go with a torque motor. Or change your controller to a 400 amp

@@greg20152015 you have to get the armature off as well. You can’t get the brushes to go back down. If you don’t. You have to pry and beat and prey
