When I look at your first card with the tractor I see postcards for the grandkids. I'm always looking for ways to keep in touch with them. Thanks for the inspiration! Also if you have alcohol markers you can color the buttons the way you like.

@@shabbydabbydoodah. Oh my I get overwhelmed with all that’s on Pinterest. There is not enough hours in the day. I did a page in my art book turning into journal yesterday. (Have Not made with sewing signatures in yet) but it was so awesome to do. Took a lot of time. I get fussing over things too. I work full time. So not a lot of time to craft right now. But. I’m hoping soon. (Also packing to move) so. I get it when u want to look for other stuff when ur making a video. I’m slow. But. It’s just relaxing.

These will be really cute in a farm themed journal. I think you could add just a bit of the dish the chicken was eating from to complete the scene.

I have never used a children's book to create any kind of ephemera! Mostly because my children's books are so old, I can't bare to tear them apart (even though they are falling apart...lol) This little project may help me try it!

SO precious! I'm still struggling with tearing apart children's books because my grandson might enjoy them. Of course, he has tons of books here at my hosue anyway. It's a bit like that first time you tear apart an Edith Holden book. Yikes! TFS the inspiration, Tina!

I always look at those tags when I look through Pinterest for tag ideas. I like simple and pretty tags. But I question using children images in journals that are not little golden books or similar books? Thanks for the showing me how to make these.
