The ammo thing is a pretty nice drawback to her kit that doesn't hinder her performance too much

La Pluma and Tequila cases are just miracle that rarely happen lol
Her kit is actually pretty strong, she can easily do a lot of damage even to high def enemies due to atk scales and skill cycle is really quick
I like the new ammo icon on her chibi's bottom right, also she's cute
New 6☆ Ray
Traits: Attacks require ammo and increase ATK by 120%. When not attacking, gradually reload ammo
Talent1: Place summons within the attack range to expand the attack range, prioritize attacking enemies within the summons' range, and increase physical damage.
Talent2: When attacking the same target, each attack increases the ATK by 8%, stacking up to a maximum of 3 times
S1: Immediately use special ammunition to attack the target, dealing physical damage and pushing it with a certain force. If the target is defeated, ammunition is immediately reloaded.
Can hold charges
S2:
Passive: Retrieve bullets hit in the area when the summons retreat.
Active: Expand attack range, increase attack power, and reduce summon redeployment time.
Infinite duration
S3: Stop the attack to the maximum of bullets, Greatly decrease Attack Interval, expand attack range, cause certain physical damage, and bind the target for several seconds
If Ray kill enemies within the skill duration, Recovering SP after the skill ends.

I wonder by ammunition, does it mean the skill charge (special ammunition), or just the regular ammunition.
If it’s the skill charge, I’m genuinely curious how well will that skill work against regular enemies that can be 1 shot by her first skill. Or maybe during specific mode where her ATK stat is buffed.
If it’s just regular ammunition, than it isn’t really that special.
@@andrewnguyen1117 from what i observe, its called special ammo cus she doesnt consume her ammo with using S1, hench using special ammo instead of normal ammo

she looks like she has good outplayability, could cook up something in the hands of a capable player, plus belly and very cute so might roll if i have anything from degenbrecher lol
She is cute girl with a deployable capybara.. Also having a strong kit. Will roll for her in the future.
I like that half of her kit is fixing her archetype

Patriot's defense is about 2000, Ray's attack power is about 1000, skill 3 specialization 3 multiplier is probably 270%, damage to Patriot (1000*1.2*2.7)-2000=1240, why is there 2263 damage? I do not understand.
patriot def is 1700, and she have additional 24% ATK stat increase from Talent 2 so thats (1240*1.2*2.7)-1700=2317.6

Dude, phase 1 Patriot has 2100 DEF, his 400 DEF buff also effect himself, not just the mob.
Also at lv.90 Ray has 1072 ATK with 0 trust, 1192 at 100+ trust
So with full stack from talent 2 her ATK should be 1329 (1072 x 1.24) at the very least.
And this is the 0 trust, lv.90, Ray S3 DPH : 1329 x 2.7 x 1.2 = 4306 dmg
If Patriot only has 1700 DEF, Ray S3 gonna deal 2606 dmg to him
@@VeryNormalGuy9 the number I ran was a very vague to show that the number he initially ran is wrong and why, I misremember patriot defense and clearly I simplify Ray attack to 1k for simplicity sake. I already an through the number the whole day yesterday essentially so I already know that (tho admittedly I ran through Ray numbers after I made this comment otherwise I would just copy the number I already ran)

for ray specifically, she out dps schwarz under the same condition, with her having a 8 ammo count drawback, so she would have better dps on top condition and have her 8 ammo as a limiter
@@artygs1I just saw MineMoon post their early showcase. I got it now.
Ray basically got limited duration version of an unlimited range (without the need of redeploying like Schwarz). Her S3 damage is comparable or more than Schwarz's and/or Pozy's. I don't know the numbers.
Instead of shredding Defense like Schwarz or Pozy, Ray increases her own attack instead.
But the down side as you said is she's basically trash during normal attacks due to needing to reload. So her top condition has better DPS but her bottom condition also has worse DPS. xD
@@ikyiAlter I already ran the number, she trash both Schwarz and Typhon(Typhon is even lower than Schwarz mind you) in term of dps, but since Ray have 8 ammo, she have very low total damage until she have to start reloading

@@kurotsuki12 so whats Typhon drawback? Ah yes cant attack close range and killing spread and hoard of enemies. And they overlooked her drawback with insane damage. Ray is pretty much the inverse typhon

And remember this is still sl7, and in other Video, she solo Patriots with only help from Warfarin
Nice damage but not so impressive. Aside from summoning capybara, using schwarz felt more effective than using Ray.
Nah she easily deals more damage than Schwarz. Schwarz range is just too awkward to use nowadays
i still don't know whats the point of this archetype. but, im happy enough for a skippable operator before spring festival limited banner and new R6S event.
@@andyjackson7116 the biggest drawback is that she can't attack if she ran out of ammo, typhon on the other hands so i think typhon still better than her
@@NguyenTien-st5vn come to think about it, Typhon is a better sniper than Ray. Moreover people already shifting from schwarz to pozy and only used schwarz for sniper buff.
