And each high tier character still has an exclusive weapon that makes them stronger when equipped. but exclusive weapons are instead hard to obtain and you have to grind for it. kinda like Dragonsteel Set from Minecraft Mod: Ice and Fire but perhaps harder to obtain because you'd have to get unique set of either high quality materials or high quantity for each unique weapon

Man i like these designs but i really miss the more grounded approach the Original game has. Like Nearl in her base design with the flowing skirt and white armor would look so much better than that tank girl with all the interwrapping armor plates ngl
I’m so glad when translating their extra 2D designs to 3D they didn’t cutdown! Like I love the over the top accessories, weaponry, technology, etc it makes Arknights its own thing. Plus the same graphic design translates so well here and adds so much flare and identity. I dropped the original game since I didn’t had time and couldn’t keep up with the world building (I’m regrettably a lore skipper), but it was one of my favorites since I could tell the clear dedication development put into the game. I’ve always been wanting these characters to be full fledged playable 3D models but it seemed impossible with how detailed they were but behold this is all I’ve ever dreamed of! Please Endfield come home soon!
At this point, it like they're forcing themselves. Why add male characters if they're not gonna put any effort on them?! I really wish gacha games would put more effort on male characters. If they're not going to, then they should just stick to being a waifu game

If you do not know what "The Door" is, you can find mention of it from Theresis as he is trying to use it, and it is a heavy focus in IS4. The Blackhole protocol mainly consisting of Rhodes Island employees worked tirelessly to open that gate at the end of the Infy Icefield's. During one of the endings they succeed, but only just enough to gaze what lies beyond it before it closes for good. However, 500 years later the Blackhole protocol succeeds in opening it long enough to travel from Terra to Talos-II. There is a cemetery in Endfield that lists operator code names, so it can be confirmed that everyone we knew back then is dead. Though Kal'tsit and the Doctor is most definitely still hanging around, 500 years is nothing to them.
I hope there are only 5-6 star characters. The fact that there are 3-4 star characters would only result in wasting resources on characters with good designs but useless in the long term.
@roseravus4908 Yeah, my favorite character is Rangers, a white lizardman with a cool design, he's a 2 star troop so he's useless even if he has a low cost because his stats are low and his max lv is limited to 30. Why are you going to waste resources on making a good looking character if they are going to be useless? In games like Zenless Zone Zero you can use "A rank" units instead of "S rank" units and beat all the content because they are useful
