unlike other trapmasters that insist you to use their trap to attack the enemies, Ela play by attacking the enemies herself while using the trap to help, and all her skills is manual activation skills instead the usual trapmaster's auto generating trap skill. while they are quite similar, she felt like an marksman sniper with ability to deploy trap than a trapmaster specialist imo
Honestly I like that, doesn't make other marksman or Dorothy useless by overpowering them but simply adds more versatility to the team with that

Trapmasters were basically already better AA snipers anyways at this point
@@slonik0002not wrong but the marksman are still best suited for them based on the priority they have Exia, Archetto and Ash are still better when you get swarmed by the drones or hovering enemies.
Still I do believe trap masters are good overall and are basically the stronger and more versatile marksman.
Her S2 sounds like an Iron Golem when they got hit 💀
It seems her job is to debuff enemies, making them take more damage

딜도 강하고 모듈도 괜찮고 나름 잘나온 오퍼 같음. 도로시가 높은 공격력 스텍이 덤 수준이었는데 그걸 활용하는 스킬셋도 좋고.

She’s a must have for me now well at least I know who I’ll be saving for after Jessica and Ray and this banner has pretty fun units overall like Iana (the reverse doll keeper) and Doc (mostly just a healing guard but still looks great)

On demand stun for Ash + Traash clearing from ela's AOE attacks.
Also Ela S3 Fragile + Ash S3 nuke should delete just about anything in that game aside some bosses.

-her traps has aoe trigger zone wich eliminates regular trapper problems if enemy get to close we cant set a trap anymore
- S2 upgrades her basic attacks wich no other trappers have
- S3 made her mini Ash also the only one who got fragile debuff is just her and Term X
Wdym by your third points? There is others several peoples who give fragiles (shamare,gnosis,suzu etc...) Ela and TRMX are just the only one who give the icone for some reasons lmao
@@oturan9728 i noticed that, for gnosis case his freezing or any other freeze is basically treated the same like when ours got frozen maybe the dev team tought, eh we dont need symbols anymore its visually the same anyway.
Suzu, shamare, even ash, they got Fragile effects on the traits but again maybe dev tought the explosion or aura effects are enough for players
I want the symbols, and its currently special for exploding stuffs like Ela's and THRM's

모듈로 개선되는 유틸이 더 있기도 하고
물딜러 특성상 엔드스펙까지 키워봐야 진짜성능을 알수있으니 속단은 어렵지만
지금 봤을땐 도로시랑은 그다지 상관없고 오히려 명사수들 파이를 잡아먹은 느낌이 드네요
뭔가 여기저기를 최신캐릭 스타일로 개선해서 돌아온 애쉬같은 인상임

I think S3 is definitely better, but it really wants the mod and M3.
I know it's just slvl 7, no module/trust, but bruh, this is sooo underwhelming even compared to Dorothy. S1 offers no dmg at all, S2 has atk recovery, and S3 (which looks like the only useful one) has worse fragile than Suzu/Gnosis, even though it has flexible range, also very long cycle time to recover her mines compared to Dorothy 12 secs. Seems Ash is still the only useful R6 member atm, esp with very good new module.
She is bassically a Sniper with extra steps. You can't compare her with Dorothy who is more traditional Trapmaster

Her S2 being atk recovery might hurt but her low atkspd makes up for it and is a good trash mob cleaner skill,i do agree her S1 is worse than Dorothy's but its just because of the high SP cost,other than that her S1 mines has high effect duration(which is good since her talent 2 will be always active during that duration) has slow and an effect which is basically works similar to applying all allies phys,arts dodge,her S3 has one of the hightest ST dmg in-game and it's fragility debuff can be applied to anywhere on map(best synergy with Executors),also compared to Suzu/Gnosis her fragility debuff has longer duration and higher % fragility debuff than them if their skills are not active
@@kangashin Again, why would you use s1 and s2 over tens of better options we have right now? Do we need another "trash clearer" (a trash clearer without aoe as well)? Repeating myself, s1 has absolutely no dmg, and s2 only has def ignore, but no atk modifiers. So that means her talent alone should carry her. Ok, so lets assume 100% uptime of it on s3: with module she will have ~860-880 atk iirc, so roughly ~2770 with 90% atk buff and talent modifier (if talent counts after atk buff), then add her 35% fragile to that. No aoe, no aspd buffs, no cc, no def ignore on s3 which is her highest dps skill. Not looking like top dps in the game anymore, right?
And if you want to compare her to marksmen, there's a reason they're not that popular in hard content like IS or CC high difficulties - simply not good enough without external buffs to bring down overbuffed mobs, also their range is too small, so they just die when anything looks in their direction. Ela is not even a good buff candidate bc she can't burst like Exu or Ash, her 40 ammo with 0.85 sec atk speed will take ~34 secs to unload if she is constantly attacking which is painfully long for a burst skill, and her fragile mines will only cover ~14 secs of that, so no talent uptime after.
As for fragile - it's even worse when you compare her to Suzu/Gnosis. Let's forget aoe and cc the latter provide, just compare rough uptime: 1. Gnosis - 60% fragile, 13 secs aoe with 53 secs skill cycle on s3, 4 secs aoe on 12 secs skill cycle (or 6 secs if it's against single target). 2. Suzu - 44% fragile, 35 secs uptime on a 105 secs skill cycle, has slow, healing and 16% dmg down debuff. 3. Ela - 35% fragile, 14 secs uptime with less range than both, ~68 secs skill cycle if you don't cancel it and she is constantly attacking something. Yes, it is more flexible, that's why i said it's her best skill, but numbers and uptime are significantly worse. If you like her kit/appearance/character, then sure, noone is stopping you from getting/using her, but believing she can hold a candle against Suzu/Gnosis who are already not even near the top of the meta is just copium, sorry. Ofc she will be enough to clear story content like every other 6*, but that's about it.
@@ixplorer734 Her S3 takes 20 secs to unload(it also reduces her atk interval),i do think she will be generally preferred more as a fragile debuffer instead of Gnosis/Suzuran because (Texas,Yato exists)i don't think any other debuffer has better synergy with those two other than her,also her S2 does has aoe and her S3 does also has slow
Dorothy more versatile.. Ela can only hit those in her range (slows does no damage, bruh).. Dorothy better in my book (anywhere in map, big damage, slows)
I'm glad that they're different lowkey. Ela is closer to a sniper defo, instead of a trapmaster. It's like they wanted to make her a marksman sniper 6* but there's already three of them XD

All you talk about is slow,meanwhile Ela has longer slow duration,while also being able inflict massive fragile debuff to the enemies anywhere on the map(has the best synergy with Texas,Yato alters out of all operators)which is enough to make her equally versatile as Dorothy
