A lot of amusement parks had these cars back then because it was an easy way to cool people off in the summer. I’m amazed these run so well on such little voltage! Your videos are always so fascinating!
Hi Leonard, these trollies run better than some of the modern trains. I can only imagine what people and children must have thought seeing them run around in the 1900s with a magic black box controlling them. A world away from the clockwork toys that they would be used to. Great video as usual. 👍
As always thanks for posting cool stuff. Years ago I was at a Ted Mauer auction. There was a collection of S Scale brass going off. But most of the day was RARE Lionel stuff. T rail track going for $25 a section. But by far winner was a Lionel Trolley (did not know they made trolleys) owned by Ward Kimball. It went for a TON of money. it might have been 1 of these. th-cam.com/video/xNFMEnTawz0/w-d-xo.html
Just as fascinating as always Leonard, thanks for posting and Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Real toys.
I rode on a Brill ( built in 1895 ) trolley that looked like these. Everyone of your videos teaches me something new, thanks. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Thanks! Merry Christmas to you as well!

May the grass always grow under your feet. MERRY CHRISTMAS.
Much better to have grass grow under my feet than over my head
Merry Christmas
