Some tips for Compsci Erstis 1. Don’t be freaked out cause of Dismath Proofs. At the end, the structure of the exam can be predicted by solving old exams. Solve them and see what you are good at, train till you master these easy and same-strutured subtopics and ace all points out of it. + dont' go through the lecture. Do the exercises. 2. Linalg: Can be predicted by solving old exams too but don’t get too cocky, you have to go through the proof from the lectures. They always include one/two proof (as whole exercise) from the lecture. 3. EPROG: Programming part: 3 can almost always be predicted and trained b4hand, has many points too. Train for 1 x 3 or 1 x 2, where 2/4 are usually unpredictable 4. AD : Written part can get u most 3.5 points out of 6. Train it, to get at least 3. The written + programming part lean on the exercises, not the previous exams. 5. Analysis 1: YOU HAVE TO READ "Analysis I Eine praxisorientierte Einführung für Mathematiker und Physiker" THEN a >= 5 IS safe. 6. DIGITECH: PREDICTABLE. DO THE EXERCISES + LAB . The content of the course is massive but the exam leans on the exercises ONLY. YOU ONLY NEED 30 PERCENT CORRECT TO PASS THE EXAM BECAUSE LAB IS 2.2 POINTS ALREADY. 7. PPROG: SOMETIME COULD BE VERY MEAN, DON’T UNDERESTIMATE it. It might be easy for you but the grading scheme is horrible. GOAL: ace all points from the easy exercise LIKE 1 and 2. parts (calculate throughput, speedup etc.. HERE YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND IT in detail because its the minimum what you can do for PPROG and it could get you like >= 20points). 8. AW: just like AD.
2:44 I just wanted to clarify, I usually study at the library and sometimes I run out of paper, that's when I use the printer paper in "emergency cases" whenever I don't have any more left on me, I don't think it's a good idea to constantly take paper from the printer 😅

Can a normal student pass the exam if he or she works hard or do you have to be really really smart?

Do u know the procedure for admission for Indian 12th grade pass out because we have 12 years of school in contrast to Greece, Germany, and Switzerland...also I wanted to know that being a Greek what level of Germany proficiency certificate u had to clear to get into ETH Zurich...??? @@psitsmaria Then the issue is: "not buying EXPENSIVE and USELESS typologies of paper", and not "not buy paper"... I mean, with all the costs of a student life that's not really an essential idea/tip to give to students (and yes you can print white papers, but you pay for then in this case). In any case thanks for ETH videos, I find them always interesting :)

You have to get a c1 certificate in German language by giving exam throw goetha institute which is in every major cities of India
You have to check the. Eth website you will find it over there in bachelor programs

Paper is also like 6-8 francs for 500 sheets so yeah, that will last you for a while
I get the blocks from the ETH Store which have around 100 sheets and cost 7 francs, so it adds up eventually

Yes! You can take part in most events, but amiv (mech eng and electr eng) have priority in case there’s a waiting list or smth
