Esatto! Mica che Bergonzi ha copiato da me? Ah!Ah!Ah! It is also about having the proper mouthpiece and reed. don't be afraid to try bigger tip openings and longer facings as your breath support and your embochure muscle control improves. Enjoy playing the coolest instrument on the planet!
Yes there are some different schools of thought on sax embouchure but that doesn't mean that a particular approach is necessarily the right one for everyone regardless. What Mr Bergonzi terms "the no embouchure embouchure" has been, and continues to be, favoured by many notable players. It does however seem to be almost exclusively limited to tenor, rather than alto players, in my opinion and is not generally favoured by those who migrate to the sax after first having learnt the clarinet which requires a much firmer embouchure to produce a focussed sound.
can someone tell me why Jerry makes it look so easy and there are still so many bad embochures out there? Maybe there are teachers that need to be taught this way!
I sottotitoli!!!! Sei un grande ad aver tradotto il video, grazie di cuore!

Great embouchure advice Jerry. Brooklyn Brass & Reed
Excellent explanation!
I never knew that until now, thanks for bringing that to my attention. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. He sounded a bit "Allard-esque" :D

best sound ever
ottimo video +++
thanks teacher.....
Yes but It's a so called "Slant Signature" made in the fifties in Popano Beach Florida. It's very different from modern Tone Edge.
grande, in due minuti il riassunto di cosa è giusto saper fare per suonare alla grande in modo semplice.
Bergonzi was a Joe Allard's student
I suspect Joe Allard would love this guy. Allard was against any unnatural stressing of any muscles, especially in the embouchure.
@missionimprovisation EXACTLY !!!!
ma queste lezioni interessantissime non si possono avere in italiano ???? per noi comuni mortali ?
