What is the auction afraid of that you can't video there? Does this auction have a name?
The Billings sale was this weekend. I think that's where she went. And the Billings sale does have a no filming policy.
They are just trying to respect the privacy of the sellers. It also prevents fake rescues/kill pens from profiting off of photos/videos taken at the sale for internet "fundraising".
The older I get the more I relax into the " what's meant to be" attitude. As dissapointing as it may be, be assured there is an senior horse out there who is waiting for you to show up. I so enjoy watching your videos and all the knowledge & care you put into each and every horse. So happy you decided to document your journey. You are a fantastic storyteller, leaving us all to want more.

The sunrise was beautiful. All the colours coming through in Prim's coat are gorgeous already, I can hardly wait to see the end result. It's also the first time I've actually seen all the different colours through Tiny's coat. She's a wee beauty. 😊
Too bad you’re not closer - my Medicine Hat gelding would be a perfect, calm presence for Skelator. Maybe ask around to see if a rancher has an older gelding they don’t want to see at auction?
Tiny knows & respects her loving duty to oversee and protect you, as well as the horses, barn, food, etc. Cats are like that when they choose to bond to you…..🐱🦁🐯…..big cats and small cats-it’s just the same.
Sunrise is absolutely gorgeous and the road you’re driving on is beautiful love watching your videos no matter what you’re doing. Love it love the horses.😊

I was a Triple Crown fan my entire 20 years of horses! I did however have to switch my seniors from Triple Crown Senior to Triple Crown Active Senior .my guys could not chew the hard beet pulp pieces even when soaked in warm water..so the Active Senior is extruded and is a big fluffy pellet that mushes up fantastic with water..wish I had switched them sooner..you may need to try that for Nigel..so do not open more than one bag so you can exchange if necessary!
The right horse for Skeletor will come when you least expect it.😎

I have glue on shoes on my Morgan gelding. My farrier does barefoot trims on my mares. The glue on shoes are a game changer! My boy is going great. You did a great job with Studman's glue on shoes CC! 🐎🐎🐎❤ I would love a shakey plate😂
The ones I put on Studman are a brand new style! they are awesome!

Trying to keep an injured critter “quiet” is a nightmare. Though I imagine it’s harder with horses than dogs. We have had dogs who had to be special diets and we’ve always bought good quality food for them. Most of the time food costs are much higher than vet costs (crossing fingers - current rescue is now elderly).
As far as a buddy horse, have you tried just asking your neighborhood, Facebook, and vet for an older horse to good home? Love your videos.

Bummer it was such a long day with no newbie to bring home. The perfect older guy is going to turn up for Skeletor, I know it. I think this video is the first time I've seen Nigel standing directly next to one of the horses outside and I laughed out loud! Honey, I shrunk the horse!
I knew right away by that desperate meow that Tiny likely wanted the shakey plate turned on lol Im kind of hoping you get a donkey. That would certainly make things interesting for Skeletor, although it might be a little too loud for him, and everyone!
CC might still be able to hear a donkey beating, even at her place 😮😮😮!
Even though didn't find a horse glad you could stuff you needed with the gift cards.

Someone had to direct me too, go to the top of the page and click on icon picture next to 'The Clever Cowgirl' on top far left and then look for where it will list ‘membership’ at the far right side and click. ☘

I was able to join from the You Tube app in my TV by clicking on “view channel”. At the top was the channel name and a “join” button.

I use a MacBook with YT app. I have found quite a difference between the iPhone and the MacBook .

It’s so exciting to get to the auction and look through all the horses and pick out a few. Then it’s Sooo disappointing when you can’t get the one you want! I’ve been to my fair share of auctions too! Good luck next time. When it’s a right time you will get what you want. In spring I imagine everyone is out wanting something new. Maybe next month you’ll find someone good!!
I'm not a morning person, but I don't think I would mind so much if my drive was as gorgeous as this one. Hopefully the perfect horse will be at the next auction.

I know, I grew up on farms & ranches. In fact, I'm living on a ranch right now.
The neighbouring farm / ranch , keeps Steppe Ponies. That is a primitive & tough little horse. They have a lot of clever personality !
I just watched the short of the new horse getting off the trailer and eating mash in the quarantine pasture that you posted right after this video. I can't wait to see a video introducing him.

Miss Kitty is "living the life" of a true barn and field cat with all the comforts of a good home. I wish all kitties could be so well cared for. Interesting feed mix. One year, I raised a couple of rows of sugar beets in my veggie garden and harvested a full gunny sack of nice quality sugar beets. My horses didn't like them, but the sheep and cows gobbled them up. It's a lot less work to buy beet feed, although I prefer growing them because commercial feed has additives when it's processed into pellets. Mr. Dog has competition for the jolly ball. I wonder what would happen if it was tied to the top of a post like a tether ball where he and Mr. Can't Sit Still Horse can both get at it? Entertainment or trouble? Goo luck finding a companion for Skeletor.

Do you have any horse rescues in the area that might have something suitable for Skeletor? Around here (Michigan) some rescues offer low cost horses that will never be rideable.
