- A playthrough of Konami's 1996 sports game based on the Altlanta-hosted Olympic games, International Track & Field.
Played through on the default settings. After the final credits I show the free-style event with the bikini cheat activated. Everyone looks like the wrestler Chyna in their bikinis for some odd reason.

@@IWTBF I uses lego wheels to roll across. The plastic on my controller had a dent after a while between Square and Circle.

Not much has changed since Track & Field's arcade and NES roots, and that's a good thing. It worked in the mid-80s, and it worked just as well in the mid-90s, complete with tacky and loud aesthetics in early 3D!
I think I can use the turbo rapid fire button as an easy advantage.

20:38 I remember playing this game with two of my friends and my friend's little brother who finished fourth. During the podium ending sequence he asked "where am I?" just as the camera panned around to show his character beating his first against the ground in dismay XD Much hilarity at his expense.
This was the only track game that honored the ability to hit the buttons fasr

I wish they would re release this game with modern graphics, but keep the gameplay and controllers in the original state. Awesome multiplayer

2 things:
I just find it ironic that a Playstation game is being played on a channel called NintendoComplete (I'm new here, don't crucify me).
And did anybody else use the folded-paper method to tap the buttons as fast as possible? Bruh, me and my cousins would race each other and each break the world records once we got good at it lol
Also the trick to the triple jump is you can keep "running" through the 3 jumps, so the last one has a bigger boost. I put a lot of hours into this game lol

My dad, brother, and I use to play this for hours. My dad traveled for a living and on the weekends and summers I would go with him a lot of the time and this game provides countless hours of fun and memories thanks for the upload

Pure nostalgia. Sock over the index finger to rub left and right across the square and circle button to stop a friction burn!
I remember using a third party controller for this. It had a 'turbo' feature which basically did all the button mashing for you. You'd end up having ridiculous new world record scores, like completing the 100m in 7 seconds 😆
I'm still pissed the only world record I didn't beat was the pole vault
The 100 m run i cant beat my brother he finish at around 6-7 sec 😅 , i only 7-8 sec

The graphics was shit but times was easier back then than today, me and my mates used to sit for like 8 hours playing this daily and getting stoned.
One of the most frustrating and insanely addictive games ever! Class multilayer.
This game was in the pack when I bought my PlayStation. That makes it the first game I ever bought.

I love the little Easter eggs. Through a jav too high, shoot down a ufo. Do the long jump too high, a gopher pops up out of a hole.

Best technic for Javelin, use your big toe for angle button, keep your thumbs rocking the speed.

Same for me. I could WR all the events EXCEPT that damn javelin. But I had a friend who could WR the javelin. I still have no idea how the hell to do it.
