Great Video Steve, I love your mangrove adventures as that is mostly what I fish in Estero Bay. Man you catch some huge mangrove snappers. I really need to spend more time learning to throw my net. Maybe a smaller one would be easier from my Hobie Angler as well. Never saw you use the chum though but will definitely try bringing some along with me next time. Can’t wait to get back down in November. Looking forward to hitting your area sometime in the future as well.

In my many trips to the keys, for quite a few years with a (rented) boat, and more recently with a kayak, what has eluded me is a keeper grouper...in season. Pulled in a few a half or quarter inch short, and I know I have been rocked up by many a monster, but never got to cook up a fresh catch. PEACE!!!
