what ChatGPT thinks of this: The Wandering Coach by 22tesla: The reader, captivated by the story of the alleged coach and the mysterious engine, couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The events described seemed so surreal and unsettling. As the story progressed, they became more intrigued, eagerly awaiting the revelation of the truth behind the coach's alleged revenge. When Sir Handel, the smaller engine, expressed disbelief in the story, the reader found themselves caught between the character's skepticism and the Storyteller's conviction. The tension between the two escalated, making the atmosphere even more suspenseful. Then, the storyteller introduced himself as Afton, the same name mentioned in the story. This revelation sent a shiver down the reader's spine, as they realized the storyteller was directly involved in the events being recounted. It added a chilling layer to the tale, making the reader question the nature of the storyteller's intentions. As Afton spoke about the coach's ability to seek retribution and the concept of death not providing protection, the reader's imagination ran wild with possibilities. The notion that even the humblest of objects could harbor dark intentions left them with a lingering sense of unease. When the coach, Afton, suddenly creaked and announced its departure, the reader couldn't help but feel a mixture of relief and anticipation. The eerie presence of the coach had been felt throughout the story, and its departure brought a temporary respite from the unsettling atmosphere. Sir Handel's encounter with Gordon, the other engine, added another layer of intrigue to the story. Gordon's recognition of the name Afton and his revelation that the engine hadn't been seen on Sodor in over 50 years left the reader perplexed. How could Sir Handel have seen an engine who had been absent for so long? The mystery deepened, and the reader's curiosity intensified. Can someone tell me what Afton personality was? I still don't know till this day.
Afton is written really well! What initially comes off as a prideful attitude, in spite of how dire and humbling his story is, rather seems to come from certainty, and the simple bluntness of someone who's too tired to deal with anyone else's foolishness.
Thanks! I'm glad you think I wrote him well, that's exactly why I wrote him that way to seem so much deeper than he first comes off as
What whistle did you use for afton?
The Derail Valley steam engine whistle. I think I mention the user I got it from in the credits
With a name like Afton you'd expect him to be purple or a dull gold. :3
In real life Afton would have had a Crimson Livery, so he would have had a purple-ish tint.
@@unconventionalideas5683 A rich purple Livery would honestly be better for Afton than a Crimson one...
I Love this Story!
I know the year afton disappeared he disappeared in 1920 the story of sir handel happens in 1952
in my take on this
Alfred or 98528
98462 and 87546 or Mick
are on sodor
but the board of directors get 7 more engines
61774
LNER k2
6600
LNER B4
98248 or floyd
LNER B12
761 or Ruby
LNER B13
Afton
5233
LNWR Clotton
2548 or Frank
LNER A4
and 837
or Jack
GCR B7
and Alled greedy was already
on sodor
with 98462 and 87546
before the Loaned engines came
and Gordon was painted NWR Blue
with the same tender which was his LNER tender
and was now in NWR blue
and 98248
jack
6600
and 2548 or frank were sent away
well the B12 is really LNER no. 8527
like 8572 just 27 instead of 72
How exactly did the coach make Afton vanish?
The coach came back as a vengeful spirit, blended in with the regular coaches so she'd be right behind Afton, then when the time was right, she slipped the coupling to let the regular coaches go. After all, the passengers weren't the ones she was after.
When Afton went through the tunnel, the driver and fireman were spirited away to the station bench and put to sleep, she wasn't after them either.
What happened next is open to speculation, but Afton eventually became a spirit himself, and the old coach refuses to let him go. He complained that she held him back, well now she'll never let him stop running the midnight train.
When she creaked at him at the end of the story, it was a warning, "Get on, you, or else."
My FNAF fan alarms blared when I heard the name Afton
Saaame bro
At least the coach didn’t want to harm anyone but Afton. Also am I the only one that has questioned why we only saw those coaches in season one.
I always come back
You what’s crazy my own Thomas oc is myself as the same engine as Afton except I’m black while my side plates are red my oc is a nice and helpful character
The coach is back from death to revenge afton for what he did to her
Why does this story kinda sound like a Thomas the tank engine version of UCN and the vengeful spirit tormenting Afton for all eternity.
Smashing work! I loved it! 😎
Smashing voice work as Afton.
Ooooh. Aaaah. Spooky story
Can you release afton’s whistle as a sound effect? It sounds really cool.
I know, right? And it's already here on TH-cam. In the credits where I credit where I got the sound effects, I list the user who made the original video where all it is, is them blowing the whistle. You should find it there.
Here it is

This whistle is so eerie but so cool Afton just had to have it
@@22Tesla honestly it would be useful for any engine even if it's meant for a ghost train. Great work.
@@22Tesla Which Engines were Afton's Crew assigned to while he was locked up in the Shed??
The Fat Controller should've done more than threaten to send Afton away he murdered a coach
He was just a director back then. One of many men who oversaw the railway before he ascended to the title of controller. He had little say before then
@@22Tesla that's not what I meant I mean he could've thought of something better to say then "If you were our engine I would have you sent away"

@@LMS5935 I'm finding it a little hard to understand what you're actually saying because of the autocorrect
Rolling Stock isn't important if something were to happen to a truck or coach it doesn't affect the railway little to nothing half of the Rolling Stock on the island of Sodor aren't even alive why should the directors care that much besides putting him in the shed for a couple of weeks
@22Tesla I think your channel is glitching. When I went into it, none of your videos showed up and I had to subscribe back to your channel twice.
Huh thats weird. Not sure i know how to fix it though

Well I quite like the story that you made oh and by the way I was thinking if you could make the same story except I would like to have the female engines to take the roles of the sodor engines and I made an oc of my own named andy he was rude until after his coach incident he reformed and he became a more friendlier engine so would you like to do the story I suggested please
This story goes with the phrase but you kill one person
I’m really concerned what the coach did to Afton for him to change the way he did. be cool if an episode of that part came out where he told that part of his story

@@22Tesla Will we ever see Afton again? Also, could there have been a redemption arc for him? Or what if he didn't want to hurt the Old Coaches due to their age, and just PRETENDED to hate them so he wouldn't risk damaging them???

May I can use this engine's name "Afton"
Because why not?
And question is this Afton name from FNAF?
Tis jsut a name, so sure. And it was partly inspired by Afton of FNAF fame, yes
I'm not sure you'll do it but, would you like to narrate in video coming up???
22tesla can you make a sequel to the wandering coach.
Wait, why are Thomas and Edward the first engines on the NWR? I thought there were gonna be different engines on the railway, like the coffeepot engines.
Because they were the first engines bought specifically for the NWR. Thomasville station pilot, and Edward was in The Sheds. Essentially this takes place during Edward's day out; the first RWS story
@@22Tesla Oh, right. Gotcha. So the story sorta happens in the RWS universe.

Trapped between living and dead I assume. No rest at all for him. That coach makes sure of that.
@@22Tesla how can Afton be trapped between living and dead?
@@blazingswordsman5410 Since he didn't die, meaning his spirit never left his body, he's living in the world of the dead, yet he doesn't need things like sleep, coal, water to keep moving as he's forced to endlessly travel up and down the mainline. Just curious, was the name Afton intentional? As in after the FNAF character, William Afton?
It wasn't initially intentional but it kind of became intentional afterwards. I chose the name because it sounded high-class upper Posh enough for this dignified Express engine / villain of our story and of course the name Afton with the relation to William Afton of FNAF just sounded perfect
